If you can't see the narrative that's being played out here then I can't have a discussion with you. The protests aren't doing anything but inciting more violence, and causing more accidents. It's people's right, certainly, but what good has come of them? Solidarity? That whole Charlottesville fiasco was used by the media to raise tensions and generate ratings.

Recently when a guy got shot in Charlotte, NC there was a BLM protest in uptown, and guess what? Someone else got shot. But it wasn't by the cops, but people looking to fight within the protesters. This is how they get you, by hijacking your emotions. And now we're getting mired in disagreemnets here, so they win again. I don't pretend these things don't happen, but I disavow myself of the nonesense to maintain clarity of mind. My only regret is seeing the stupid movie in the first place. I feel remorse that Prince is tied to it.

I am still trying to understand...Do you feel Prince was trying to avoid being tied to Identity Politics?I would like to know what you think Prince would have preferred? Who did Spike Lee defer to IYO?

JWs believe that all governments are corrupters controlled by Satan and that the only way forward is with the coming of God's Kingdom. Near the end of his life, when he was in the throes of addiction, he drifted away from the truth and was flirting pretty heavy with spiritism which is a big no-no. Prince thought he was bigger than the truth and that he could augment God's word. He was wrong. Now his corporate masters are crafting a new narrative out of his life and work.
