because you watch too much porn and you look for funky guitars and cheesy synths in everything so you find it. You know that listerine commercial with "Tarzan Boy" you should watch it, no nudity but a guy like you would still get a boner just from those fucked up neural connections from watching porno. it's ok, shave your right palm and get a hold of yourself would you?

I just realized from his orgname: the kid was born in 2012. C'mon, it's only natural for a 6 year old to be clueless and not be able to differentiate porn from reality. The kid'll grow up. It's already pretty impressive he knows Prince at this tender age: I guess his folks are Prince fans.

rolleyes

You could just have asked "does God exist?", "Why is there something instead of nothing?" or "How is it it to be an arthropod?", no one could have replied either. It's really not so hard to ask a question no one can answer to, you don't even have to make up shit like you did.

.

And actually there's a fair amount of intelligent Prince-related questions that have been ask here over the years and that no one could answer to.

Your question was answered in post #3

.

.

I'm a huge Jazz fan, I worked with a coworker who did not know jazz, mostly country music and some top 40. One day he came into the area I worked, and I had the jazz station on. He asked why was I listening to porno background music. My reply was the same as post #3. "Dude you watch that soft porn with the lite jazz music in the background"

As I recall this guy didn't think much of Prince's guitar skills... nuts lol

I'll bite.

Prince was a pornographer. Oh, he was also a lot of other things in the course of his decades-spanning career - Jehovah's Witness, Purple Yoda, "Manic Monday" scribe, etc - and the fams who want to distance him from pornography can call him an "eroticist" if that helps them sleep at night, but the fact remains: he was a pornographer. From the Greek: porno graphos = writing about prostitutes. See also "D.M.S.R.," where he urges "work your body likea whore." His music is on the soundtrack to four films about sex workers: Risky Business, Pretty Woman, Girl 6, and Showgirls. Did I miss any?

He drew inspiration - even samples - from softcore (Barbarella references and Caligula-inspired video set design) and hardcore porn (listen closely to "P. Control," and you'll hear what I'm assuming is a porn starlet asking, "are you ready for the best pussy you ever felt?"). He manufactured audio porn: consider Vanity's orgasmic moaning throughout "Come." He probably wrote more songs about the act he called "It" on track 1 side 2 of SOTT than any other artist before or since. In this sense, Prince expanded the sexual vernacular of "rock&roll" - a euphemism for fucking - more than any other artist. Because PRINCE WAS A PORNOGRAPHER. The same can and has been said, with varying levels of scorn or praise, about Frank Zappa, Jagger/Richards, Madonna, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Allen Ginsburg, Michel Houellebecq, Anais Nin, Henry Miller... shall I continue? It's a long list.

The boundary between art and porn is as thin and wrinkly as that sheet covering Prince's ass in the 1999 sleeve. 70s porn music was 70s funk and disco, the exact same cultural juices from which Prince's career oozed.

sure, i'm just bustin the kids chops a little bit, he wanted to create some fuss so i gave him what he wanted. One book, poplife i think, called Do Me Baby some kind of porn music, I could see it, but calling his music porn music as a whole, certainly is not meant as a compiment. Any of the music from the era he drew from could have been called porn music because that's what the sounds, the musical techniques were at the time. Studio musicians, who would usually be fine musicians who weren't stars and needed the work presumably did porn music. I don't think they even use music these days, or at least from the pornos I accidentally come across sometimes. So this kid must be going back a bit.

Purplegarden

Warning Snowflakes and easily shocked/offended types - I use graphic language descriptive of female reproductive anatomy. If this offends you do not read and do not bitch as I will ignore with the SWIFTNESS

Unfortunately Disco and bass driven music of the 1970s is often associated with Pornography because many adult movies of the 1970s to 1990s featured badly made imitative disco music with organs and the usual wah wah bass and boom chick a wow wow type sounds.

.

Plus it is caught up in the stereotype of the whole 70s =- non stop sex, disco and drugs as exemplified by movies like Boogie Nights and Dazed and Confused. It's a daft stereotype when its labelled on every melodic album of the mid or late 70s.

.

It is a musical album and Prince singing in falsetto, plus there are some very sexy lyrics on it (I wanna play in your river - meaning river of seminal fluids) and Your love is soft and wet (She has a soft and moist pussy), Plus Baby is about teenagers having babies - a general sign of sexuality immaturity and irresponsible behaviour. It's a sexy album and has a real boogie get down feel, but Barry White or Eddie Kendricks it is not. Also the rest of the songs are about being in love and sadness from lack of love rather than get down. Generally people who criticise it as being dirty and pornographic (One reviewer called it "barely teenage humpa humpa") are incredibly shallow and immature. I actually think they have seen few porno movies and more likely have wwatched a few later Adam Sandler/Ben Stiller/Ron Schneider type movies that lampoon and name drop 70s porno.

I got plenty good loving for ya baby
