Crystal Ball album The last days I've been listening to the Crystal Ball album. I just had to say how it has blown me away big time So many super songs on there. I would go as far to say it's my favorite album ever. Next is Emancipation for me. I sampled a few tracks and was really impressed. I need a holiday to give me a chance to properly absorb this music | |

The only song I don't like it Animal Kingdom, it's bloody awful.I live Cloreen Bacon Skin, it's just non stop funk. I think my favorite disc is 2 but they are all great and the real highs are spread across all discs. | |

'Animal Kingdom' is from The Truth album, which was originally packaged with Crystal Ball.
There isn't a remix of TMBGITW on Crystal Ball on either of the two versions (the mail order only spherical version includes Kamastutra as an additional disc), but the song is quoted in the chorus of '2morrow'. | |

It's a fantastic collection of music. I agree it could have been better with other selections but I also think that is true of other albums so I judge on what it is no what it could have been. I always used to break it down and reconfigure into era's and leave out the remixes but the last few years I have always just listened as is and I find it highly enjoyable.
I also always consider it as seperate from the The Truth and am Glad to see them seperated on the Streaming Services.
Shame we never got CB2

i've been getting poom poom stuck in my head since i heard it. cloreen baconskin, though, i can't listen to that without my throat feeling dry and uncomfortable just because it sounds like it would hurt so much to sing like that. i can't believe Prince didn't gain some kinda throat damage after 15 minutes of that lol ~everything is a prince reference~ | |
