Which songs are in your opinion the best covers songs done by Prince?

Yes, and it is Prince playing that bass, which makes it even more delightsome.

But Prince & 3rdEyeGirl, their cover of the song by Nichole Nordemann, I find this so excellent


I am non-english so the christian lyrics does not bother me at all (I don't believe in God myself).

This cover song - reminds of "One Of Us" from Emancipation (the Joan Osborne cover song).



Both these 2 songs are very beautiful, imho.

Yes yes yes ... a great mix of covers and Prince original in the show, but Best of You was superb! Often wondered whether he asked the Foos if he could cover it or whether it was a nice surprise for them. I know they had huge respect for Prince (their Darling Nikki cover is top notch). Wished he'd have recorded it.

As for Whole of the Moon, and Johnny B Goode I really NEED to hear these asap!
