I'm curious what got him into playing Purple Music because I don't recall him playing this prior to P&M. I've only heard the outtake and 1983* piano version

According to Casey Rain on Twitter it's not jazx. Not sure what he referring to though.

Just saw that and it seems as though Casey had heard an excerpt. Judging by his description it's experimental and potentially electronic.

The tracklist here is the opening lines to 'Ruff Enuff' so potentially not song titles at all. Unless Prince was creating jams around that opening line?

I wonder if Prince had more that one project with that potential title at different times or if it comprised more than one album with one distinct sound?

Looking closer the paper is marked as 'track 24' so likely refers to a single song.

dodger

There did seem to be something in the works about ‘the freedom galaxy’

As others have said that paper is the opening lines to Ruff Enuff, which mentions it
.
On some of the P&M shows he’d say ‘welcome to the freedom galaxy, how many *something* you need’ at the beginning of Purple Music
.
Also Spencer Derry made some artwork with it as well

Where do you see a tracklist?
Anyway, reading on Twitter that Prince had plans for several releases in 2016:
Phase 3
Black is the New Black
Welcome to the Freedom Galaxy
2 P&M shows.

Sounds great. If only...

Apologies, I was referring to the picture above, which I originally interpreted as a tracklist.

Seems to me it is only a note about a track or an album.
By the way - the list of what Prince had planned for 2016 is what Tidal should release imo.

Absolutely. It seems to me to be wisest and easiest to follow Prince's wishes and release the last batch of material he was working on.

It's also what the majority of fans are most interested in also, so really a no-brainer.

Electronic? Does that mean a new collaborstion with Welton? Is Casey Rain still active on the org? Maybe he could comment?

Electronic? So maybe a new collaboration with Welton. Is Casey Rain still on the org.? Maybe he can shed some light on this.

Those releases would keep this purple hippy happy. If only. We know wb’s direction, not gonna get my hopes up for tidal’s. So if p&m 83 was announced say 3 months before its dUe to be released we should hear from tidal sometime in September. Here’s hoping it’s one of the above!
Comin str8 outta Preston...
