imagine if they were covering up a suicidefrom three hours before. WOW. Who knows? I give up trying to figure it for now. the truth might take years to find out.

PeteSilas said:

that's what i'm conjecturing. not as if i know though. in bruce lees case, the mistress was in a puddle on the floor while his film partner put on his clothes, realizing he was already dead, as mentioned by this new author, he most likely thought of getting the body to a different place and in fact lied to the press about the place of death in the next few days.

the more I learn about Bruce Lee's case, the more I think my first belief of how he died is the most credible: that he just worked himself to death. I mean, it's been said that the cannabis caused an allergic reaction but there haven't been many cases of that have there? The new book says it might have been heatstroke, some think it was a curse. Only Prince would compete with that mystery.

Might I say the investigative team should have hired those of you who have reviewed all of the documents - you seem to be asking questions/have a different perspective than the people who actually were on site. I am very grateful for what you have done and are doing in Prince's honor.

I think they missed a few things. They should've gotten that computer that day.

I totally agree with you Penny, and with everyone else who has commented in the last day or so. As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I'm new to the conversation but you are all pointing out the 'red flags' I noticed when I read the reports. I was shocked by a number of things (in no particular order): that Meron felt she could simply not return to finish her interview with the detective even though she had agreed to so so, that the computer was left behind and then tampered with (by who?) (for what reason?). Who would have felt they had the right or had the login access? Unlikely it was Tyka...had to be Kirk or Meron. If they felt they could erase all the emails prior to April 19th was it? What else might they have tampered with? Penny, wasn't there a sentence somewhere in all that documentation (I can't find it now) that Sheila E had made some cryptic comment about how Prince had NOT died in the elevator? It was quickly disregarded and never mentioned again. I actually do believe he might have died in his room and rigor or not, been hastily dressed and placed there (for what reason...who knows). I didn't have the impression he was in full rigor when he was found - it might not have been that hard to dress him and move him (I like the doll analogy - very true - little girls can dress stiff-armed dolls in an instant). The clothes were on inside out and backwards. But they were the same clothes he had worn to the doctor's the night before he died, and then photographed in outside the pharmacy. He was a night owl - if he died somewhere between say, midnight and 6am - it's quite likely he had not yet been to bed, or undressed yet - which would have suggested he was out the night before wearing inside-out clothes? I think it's unlikely Kirk would have checked kitchens, other rooms on the morning the body was discovered. He had been calling Prince's cell phone several times early (for Prince) that morning with no success. The logical place to look would be in his bedroom. I also recall that Kirk went off searching alone for a period of time before coming to get Meron, then her screams, then Kornfeld came running.

Actually, they missed a lot. Even the interviews were not controlled and key questions were not asked. The computer was just one of many things overlooked. They had to go back and swap the elevator.

Even if there was strong predication or reasonable doubt to charge someone, there are so many blunders that the case would be hard to defend.

It seems once they had the cause of death, the attention turned onto who supplied the pills.

Maybe we as fans are more interested on how this happened to Prince and his actions? That is not neccessarily a bad thing.

Agree. They might not have been able to trace the dealer (especially since his emails were erased by unknown person(s)), but I felt from the moment I read the reports that there was much overlooked. I was surprised the police just went along with the 'we didn't know he had a problem', 'we don't know what happened' thing. And Meron balking about answering questions because of some non-disclosure agreement she had with a dead man? She bought him dozens of enemas - wouldn't anyone think that was a bit strange? I also felt his house was not well cared for and he might have been so out of it he didn't notice or care, but someone was making money to keep it clean - who was in charge of that? Many very strange things in my opinion.

Also, (and bear with me - I haven't looked at the pictures in awhile - I may be wrong), wasn't there an interview with the chef who said he had prepared dinner for Prince the night before he died and left it in the fridge for him, and he was 'sad' to see it hadn't been touched when he returned to PP several days after the death? There was food left out on the table untouched, but if he left the food in the fridge and it was still there untouched several days later? It was just another thing that gave me pause at the time I first read the reports and saw the pictures. But like I say, I could be remembering wrong. I should have another look at all of it to remind myself of the things I thought were 'off' when I first saw the reports and pictures.

But am I the only person who thinks that the police, the investor, the coroner, the family, and everyone working for him follow a written script? It is as if everything was a written script, word by word, action by action. I wonder if they did a DNA test to compare with Sister Tyka. For me the biggest mistake the police did was to not seal the whole PP the day he died. Not doing so allowed people to pollute the evidence, like the strong box, they put the seals but when they came back they found the broken seals and tampered handle, clear sign that someone had opened it (even if the photos are vented it is very clear that the seals are broken). Is not there a crime of tampering with evidence in Minnesota? Why has no one been induced for tampering with evidence?

that has been what i've been saying but they keep carving me up like a thanksgiving turkey for it, beat me like a double bass drum, or a pinata at a kids party. After completing the bruce lee book, it's verified that a lot of shit was pulled for a lot of reasons, so, yes, it is possible, very possible.

The reason I said Kirk may have checked the kitchen is because that is where 1 of the 2 phones were located. Plus it was on the main level. Prince did not have a cellphone. Only 2 phonewere used by Kirk to contact Prince at PP, 1 in prince’s bedroom and the either in the kitchen/eating are.

I agree. I do not believe he was moved or dressed. I also think, as I said before, Kirk was scared and wowould YOU be thinking of or able to dress your still warm, dead, adored, world idol, rried when he did not find Prince at first.

not to mention the emotional state K and Meron would have been in...WHO here would have been able to contemplate dressing the still warm body of your beloved, world class idol boss who was dead at your feet?????Freaking out would have been the appropriate response IMO...not messing with the corpse. OK, Purple fam...I see you could have done it...

yes bodhi i could have and to add when my mom died the funeral director asked me how did my mom

like her hair styled i told them and then he asked if i would like to do it and i did. that was

without a doubt the biggest priviledge that i was blessed with, to style her hair after she had passed before her funeral to spend that quiet time in that small room with her in quiet me and her saying

goodbye and me fixing her hair for the last time. oh yes i would have done it in heart beat. it would

have been automatic i tell you from the bottom of my heart.

It was TOTALLY disrespectful for "someone" to post that false, damaging, demeaning, derogatory, blind item that did everything but name Prince's name as the subject to defame his flawless character, including adding "solved" after that tragic day. No matter what the circumstances was. That is just as bad as posting his after death photos on here.

I've personally had to set a few people straight since Prince passed. That believed he had AIDS including cussing a blog out for posting it on their site.

I'm sure the blind item article hurt Prince deeply. Since he was SO image conscious. His image meant the world to him and didn't help his anxiety. But he had other more serious things to worry about first in his last few days on earth. Like trying to get through his addiction privately and doing damage control without his fans finding out. With the help of "Dr. Kirk" & Dr. Funk.

Sadly we did anyway. cry

also remember kirk had been in this position a week prior, seeing him "dead" or near it. i am suspecting he was not in the state that meron was in. not judging him for being calm but i am

gathering just from my view he was sad, but calmer from all the near misses he has probably witnessed.

You had a problem with Part 10 and now this. Don't like it, and you complain all the time, stay off it. Nobody is forcing you to read or post on this thread. It's been posted at least 8 times here on the org and talked about much more. You knew Prince so damn well, why in the F didn't YOU help him? Where were YOU?

easy i say respectfully to both sides, we all loved him, that love presents itself differently.

please go easy on those of us here who want to investigate, our language with each other may become familiar

but i think we all are coming from love ultimately. the article was disrepectful but i appreciate

when a community member takes the time to catch me or anyone up on a happening. and i also

appreciate when community comes to defend our Prince.

In the reports, the testing of the pills were addressed. 1 pill from each container was tested (ie, Bayer, Aleve, tissue paper, etc). The detectives asked why some pills were tested more than once, and the answer was (paraphasing), they tested from each container and tested pills that were different in appearance from the same containers. So not all pills were tested.

Page 68 of investigative report #2 explains the testing process.

There are pictures of the food Prince was supposed to eat that night...in the Fridge..

You can clearly see the beet salad....

Weird that there was other food left ..

WHose was it ? It looked like Take Out....

WHo was there the night before eating in that space ?

Princes glasses and a CD were next to the food...But we know the personal Chef made his last meal and it wasnt THAT ONE..

SO WHO was that for ? and were the glasses and CD Staged ?

Just to add a quick note: "responders were lead in the front door and escorted to where the male was located, which was inside the elevator that was located down the main entrance hallway on the right side". So this is downstairs, as in he had to engage the elevator (in my opinion).

Kornfeld all but confirms this as he was waiting in a room when he heard the scream and went straight to the elevator and saw Prince .According to him, signs of rigor has alrady set in.

Yes, you're correct. And from what I've seen in pics of the Elevator there was B, *1, 2. Levels. so there was 3 levels. Hope that doesn't make it more complicated.

Oh, that's right...sorry, I knew he didn't have a cell. Was typing faster than my mind was thinking! Like I said - bear with me...newbie who hasn't looked at the docs in awhile. I need to revisit them.

Yes, there were pics of some food sitting on the table, but it didn't look like the food the Chef said he made the night before.

That's what I thought too Penny. I'd have to check, but I think the Chef said he left him a salad and some soup for dinner the night Prince died. And when interviewed later, said it made him feel sad when he saw the meal untouched in the fridge just as he'd left it. So where was it on the day the police were taking photos? Very strange. A minor detail but one of many that caught my interest.

So kirk, was apparently already upstairs and had canvased the area prior to the detectives( or was he)?

Statement reads that "while on the second floor during sweep, we noticed a black glove and black colored garment (jacket) lying in the hallway. Kirk was asked it that was normal. He responds that no it is not and that is why he didnt touch it". If Prince is already dressed , why are these things distributed on the floor ( especlally one glove)as if someone was disoriented? Where is the other glove? Did he have this one prior to entering the elevator? Weird. Page 19/ #7

Yeah, I don't understand why people weren't made to talk to them. I mean with Meron, why was she able to get away with not coming back, or answering some questions?

I couldn't understand that either. It seemed as if they just shrugged and said 'oh well' even though they felt frustrated by her stubbornness in not speaking. Interesting also that she (and Kirk too? Can't remember) lawyered up almost immediately. Why? Why would they need a lawyer in the case of an accidental death? Strong feeling that much was/is hidden and that for some reason the police let it go, along with tampered evidence, etc. Although I guess in all fairness where the computer is concerned, they had (I guess?) cleared the scene so maybe it was no longer considered 'evidence'?
