Btw, have to say, and I'm probably on my own here, but I really do find Nolan's Batman's dull, miserable and just boring.

That scene is HILARIOUS. It's on point and demonstrates a real love for Prince.

Yes in the U.S. that's true... From Controversy - SOTT every album went Platinum in the U.S.

Lovesexy went GOLD, however world wide it over a million.

Given the sheer volume of material the success he had during that period is astounding.

True, LoveSexy was received far better internationally than it was domestically, in every respect.

Of course, in the UK it was his first #1 album.

Outside of his fan base is one of his most popular releases. I saw a lot of acclaim for this album before i even became a Prince fan.

Indeed, the Brits and the Europeans in general gave the album the reception it deserved.
