no, i was just showing he was not all that worried over cussing as to ask for those albums to be edited or no loner sold.

You can’t change history. But he no longer performed those songs live or if he did he edited them to strip out curse words. For me, the fans bothered by this, I think it says more about them than it does Prince.

Thank You, rogifan! biggrin

I didn't like his decision, but I respected it.

I personally liked cussing Prince. He cussed clever like a lot of his lyrics, it was not just "for the fuck of it."

You also have a point , haha. And he really didn't curse all over the place like some Hip Hop records.

No cuss is an, umm MULTI-FACETED issue. At it's heart it was an attempt at self-love and self-respect, after a life lived at 100 M.P.H. (baby that's what it's all about) and it might also have to do with, WHATEVER,it was they say they found in them tissue boxes up there or whatheveyou. The initial idea was to CUSS more limitedly so that it was more EFECTIVE, but that somehow got flipped into zero-tolerance for all cussing, because well... prince biggrin
