They'll Come Back and Until You're in My Arms Again. I was listening to the latter today, made me sad.

i've said it jokingly for years, Little Red corvette, that song made me become a musician which is really all that I am. Way back Home would be good too, I've often thought of those two songs as bookends, similar chord progressions. both evoke a feeling way bigger and holier than any "pop" song should.

I don't know if these all fit, but they are Prince songs I love
The Beautiful Ones
Fathers Song
An Honest Man (Piano)/ Venus De Milo
Power Fantastic
Alexa De Paris
Purple Rain

With some consideration of Sometimes it Snows in April and Still Would Stand All time, and the Last December (which were excellent suggestions from previous posters)

Now LoveJunky I hope you are not already thinking of your passing. This life is about living. However I will participate in the thread and say I am sure the song on my heart will be one of Prince’s face and all the images I have of him in my mind and the fact that our souls are already connected.

Hahahaha (gif of laughing blue head falling off a chair)

I remember being in a club in 2011 and drunkenly telling lots of people that, in the event of my death from alcohol poisoning, I absolutely must have Adore played at my funeral. It was and is my favourite song, although now I'm not really sure it's burial material.

You speak the truth Lovey! That is the one constant in life (besides taxes). I've always wanted Elton John's Funeral for a Friend. But heck, it's MY funeral so I can have as many songs of my choosing as I want!

Wow, I was just working on my will putting all of my wordly belongings (yeah, that fills up a full 3X5 card!) in a trust so it is not public and now I have something else to think about!!!

Style is the second cousin to class

lol Big LOL, but yeah, why not? I like those diddies (still haven't heard P&G yet). It might actually make some people laugh--some puzzled in wonder--at least. That would be good.

Prince was and remains a fascinating artist who I'm proud to be a fan of. Seriously, it wouldn't matter what song of his somebody stuck on the visitation playlist. Put on a sexy song right after "Amazing Grace"--Insatiable--make people wanna have a sexy time afterward! That would be cool.

So, my specific instructions to my kids is to find the NPG version with Prince on vocals. I dont like the slow one with him on vocals. My hope is that that I live long enough for this to be released. If not, then perhaps repkace it with “Wherever You Are, Wherever You Go” or “Resolution”.

Welcome 2 The Dawn

That to me is the sound of Prince being welcomed into Heaven. If you don't remember it give it another listen, it's one of his most moving and yet overlooked songs, really beautiful.
