It's still missing whatever was between the end of Anotherloverholenyohead and the start of 17 Days. It might simply not be part of the soundboard (flipping a cassette over?), but it definitely is not part of the leak.

There are no songs missing between Anotherlover & 17 Days. It does sound like a little bit is missing, but not a whole song.

It seems on most dates of the tour he had 17 Days follow Anotherloverholenyohead, so it might miss only a short bit of audio. I'll try to listen to some other shows to see how much might be missing. The cut is quite jarring though.

There are several bootlegs that include audience recordings of this same show, so, it shouldn't be difficult to determine how much is missing. Unfortunately I'm not able to check those boots at the moment, but by the time I have the opportunity I expect someone will beat me to it and report back to us.

IIRC, one of the boots is The London Parade.

London Parade is the 8/12/1986 show. Unfortunately, that wont tell us. Either way, I'm thrilled to have it, complete or incomplete. That version of Head is smoking!!

You are right. There are 66 seconds (give or take) that's missing from the intro of the song compared to the audience recording (Arcorman).

The simple way to check what night it was is:

If Paisley Park is on it, its the 13th.

If Sometimes It Snows in on it, its the 14th.

If neither are on it, its the 12th.


Nice to get one in soundboard, but the middle night was my least favourite of the 3 (They were my first 3 Prince gigs). I'd love the other two.

AMAZING to finally have this as a soundboard - I've been listening to a shitty audience recording for 30 years - the first version was from the Controversy Tape Lending Library!

I wish I could have got to one of those nights - but only found about the gigs when I came back from a family holiday a week before (plus had no money / was too young / miles from London)
