it was nice to see behind the superstar persona, the expressions and the sense of fun he was having was not quite as obvious onstage. also, some of his expressions, i could see where jesse johnson got a lot of his mugging from. anyway, it was nice to see skipper/the kid and not Prince the superstar.

Strange. The 4.4 million views are still there. Someone must've accidentally switched it to private view status. If the video was removed and reloaded, all the views would've been lost.

I really can't express how much I love this video. So beautiful to see him long ago, when he was so young, and he looks so happy in this. I crack up every time I see him trying out some of his moves in those little high-heeled shoes! Pretty sure they are even smaller than my shoes, and I wear a 6 1/2. (Based on shoes of his I looked at real close at the PP tour last year...)

When he gets to the part about the flowers in the backyard dying when she went away, I always just want to go ahead and cry, even tho I know it is coming. Wierd, but not so, I think. I wish there were more gems like these, but they are really going to drag it out on us, huh? Since I am of the man's generation, hope I live long enough, LOL.

Impressive. Only found out about this version today. I always considered the B-Sides version to be sub par.
