I do not think they should have even fined the DR he had nothing to do with what killer Prince. Even if he took all 5 of the unaccounted for Percoset, that would not have killed him. And that was AFTER the OD on the plane. So they must have known he was taking something stronger than Vicodin.

They wanted to get him off the stronger stuff... I wonder if Prince was not thinking he would take one more Vicodin before going into treatment and risked it being deadly.

no way to know. back then I had read that there was a rash of ODs due to that very issue... counterfeit Vicodin containing fentanyl.

and as much as Prince flew around no way to know where they were obtained.

well no... he was just so obsessed with privacy and not being found out that he had someone get them from dealers. I am sure he took the same thing on the plane which is why he damn near died the week before.

Maybe Prince was attempting to get off the fentanyl and thought the Percocet would help with withdrawal symptoms but they weren't helpful or strong enough or whatever, and he just went back to taking the fentanyl. I don't know. Just thinking out loud. Today has ripped open the scar/scab for me so badly. Nothing makes sense (to me, right now anyway)

Oh sheesh. I think this pretty much answered our questions. And none of us knew the real Prince. Drug free, clean living, was a lie.

They have to release them. Its the law. Would be nice to think no one would be motivated to access them, but there are a lot of twisted people in the world.

I hope the MODs and Ben make a BIG announcement to not post them!

Oh no, I do understand that the law says they must be released. I just hope and wish that people wouldn't have that motivation to use any photos in an exploitative, sensationalistic way (or manipulative way)...but like you said, there are a lot of twisted people in this world and I know my hopeful thinking/wishing is actually pretty futile.
