Whatevs. I have both now, and paid for neither. So, none of that really matters anymore, just, which one sounds better... To my ears, that would be the leaks.

The politics of bootlegs aside, thanks to the leakers and thanks to those that uploaded and shared copies of the bootlegs. I for one appreciate it all.

The only reason some of the collectors I know and a notorious one on here are reluctant and not releasing there outtakes and other things they have is because of money making bootleggers.

So as much as I appreciate Eye records for releasing this stuff to the public, they are not needed and are hindering the coming of a flood of uncirculating and untampered releases. And Eye tampering with perfectly good sounding outtakes is a problem too, see 17 Days Extended for example or the First Avenue 1983 show which I heard from a collector here and was clear and full of dynamic before it was 'cleaned' and enhanced by Eye on their release.

The Something In The Water/Lisa Rehearsal were on the same tape as Raspberry Beret,Controversy and My Summer Time Thang. They are Rehearsals NOT soundchecks. The quote on quote Dirty Mind Jam on Disc 3 of Billys Sunglasses was on a tape by it self. Its not Dirty Mind its merely a Jam session. Its a 25 min jam. Then the tape cut off after Lady Cab Driver. That could be a soundcheck. The tape had no date or information. The rest is guess work.

Well, for my part I've only reported certain things that were said to me by certain people I trust, and it's a no brainer anyway to assume there won't be new outtakes until the end of time. It doesn't mean anyone claims to know everything, and I certainly don't claim to be "in the know".

I can only hope that we're all wrong and that there are hundreds of new outtakes waiting in your drawers to be released.

On the other hand, since you're here, would you please be kind enough to stop mixing new leaks with old stuff on those BFTP compilations? It pisses people off and it makes our outtakes collections a hell to organize! Just put on whatever's new, it doesn't have to be a 4 CD-set each time.

There's only one when I chose to keep the Eye version (I think the rehearsal) but yeah, as for the rest I kept the earlier leaks as well.

Most of this stuff leaked ahead of this release, all 4 of the concerts and a good portion of the rehearsals.
