Denver 1983-04-05 NO TROLL THREADS! NO SOLICITING FOR BOOTLEGS! Discussion is fine, so long as the bootleg is not being promoted e.g. pre-release; requests/offers to share or copy, and links to download or bootleg sites are not. Posting Prince and associated artist videos from sites such as YouTube is also not allowed. Posts of this nature will be deleted and repeat offenders will be first warned, and then banned. Is this like another 'City Lights' situation with these releases? Whoever is sharing the goodness, they get my thanks! It's been too quiet lately on the release front. So these'll do nicely! |

That's interesting and why I still enjoy seeing set lists. Of all of the things and successes that had happened up until this concert, the fact that he pulled out (of all deep cuts) "Still Waiting" was definately unexpected. I'd like to hear/see this show just to see how "Still Waiting" sounded during the 1999 period.

Every soundboard of the 1999 Tour I just remain amazed with the power he performs "Dirty Mind". Like a full-on assault at the audience. And then after two-and-a-half minutes, there seems to be some respite... and then the full band returns for some freaky-ass soloing. Next up some shouts to hype the audience even further, and a magnificent finale. . Remarkable gig this one: four slow songs. © Bart Van Hemelen
