So you believe they were trying to hurt Prince with it?

They sell 'weegee' boards in stores for fun. Now whether or not I think those things have real dark energy attached is another story. But there is no way Karen was trying to hurt Prince.

the voodoo doll was mean but excusable if she had kept it to herself. Selling it after his death was low and trashy especially since jokingly or not it is supposedly used to cause physical harm.

Do you honestly think any employee would be happy to know that employees were making voodoo dolls out of them? I told you Karen admitted as to the reason it was made. What makes you think Prince was not Christian in the 80s? He was a Christian who was struggling because being a Christian is hard work. That theme was running thru his work in the 80s. Why do you think he was wearing that cross?

He talked about stuff like this in Anne Christian

Everyone thanked God.

laurarichardson said:

He said the word “elevator” was supposed to be Satan. Do not let the devil take you to hell. WB told him to take it out. Not sure why you are missing this part of the story or the fact that he thanked God on every album. Not Allah and not Buddha OldFriends4Sale said:

But that line wasn't going to change the lyrics to Let's Go Crazy beyond what they were

He basically said April 1997 MUSICIAN mag "As I wrote it Let's Go Crazy was about God and the de-evalution of sin. But the problem was that religion as a subject is taboo in pop music."

.

I still believe he is 'revisiting' in edit form Let's Go Crazy

.

it wasn't that it wasn't allowed. He felt it was taboo. Of course it was integrated in pop/rock/fok/rnb/jazz music, but people who wanted to talk/sing about 'Jesus' usually did 'Gospel' music. But it wasn't taboo, and it was allowed. More likely Prince sang about things he thought were contrary to the bible.

.

.

God (creation)
4 the Tears In Your Eyes (The gospel-Jesus came to die 4 your sins)

those 2 pieces alone are pretty defined.

.

but the latter day Prince mixing Egyptology JW doctrine and Gnosticism was definately a no no

Acts 2:38

You already have been told the reason the doll was made. They pretended to harm him with the doll as a sick joke. How many times do you have to be told this?

weegee boards have a dark side too, but people have them as boardgames

If you want to live in a racial fantasy world go ahead. Voodoo dolls are not signs of endearment or love and Karen K discussed the reason the wardrobe people made it. It was done as joke so they could punish the doll they way they wanted to punish Prince. Why this has to explained to you is mind boggling?

OldFriends4Sale said:

No it isn't, she wasn't trying to harm Prince and she wasn't being racial. What racial overtones? the voodoo doll has been used by so many people especially girls/women

Prince's older female cousins used to scare Prince with Ouija boards when they babysat little Skipper...#FACT

I never said they were. It was said by Karen that they pretended to injure him with the doll being his stand in as a joke. You are the only one who brought up actual VooDoo and cannot see the meaness in what they were doing as a joke.

I get it employees being assholes is good with you.

But he never uses the word Satan in that song or any other song for that matter. If you want to believie he was not a Christian go ahead. Tells us what you do not know.

I doubt using God Jesus or Satan by name was something he could not do.

If he didn't do it, it was most likely his own issue.

Dudette, he 'quoted' the Lords prayer in Controversy 1981

Believing has so be followed with discipleship. Do you know if Prince was baptized?

It is a 'Voodoo' doll toy

.

1. In post #23 you were the first to focus on the 'voodoo doll'

.

2. In post #26 I said 'I don't care about the voodoo doll...'

.

3. Adorecream in #27 went further into the background of the voodoo doll

.

in post #30 your tried to make it racial with the voodoo doll

How do you trip yourself up so easily. Well when someone is on the attack they usually miss a lot of stuff. Like that fact that it was 'You' who brought up the actual Voodoo 'doll' and them being 'mean' (like Prince wasn't mean to a lot of people)
