Prince has a stronger FM Pop Radio game than MJ in 2018...

There, I said it.

In Austin, Prince is played on many FM pop radio stations surprisingly often, and not just on the oldies stations. MJ? Very rarely.

I hear a lot of tunes like Kiss, When Doves Cry, LRC, etc.

At least in Austin I think Prince is the most played 80s pop icon.

How about in your town??

Here in the U.K. I barely hear either, but MJ is undeniably the most popular of the two.

I have heard more Michael (Thriller around Halloween, Don't stop til you get enough at least twice, the way you make me feel (probably twice), Smooth Criminal (at least three times) , and Beat It) l. I was shocked when I heard Kiss( twice) , I would Die for U and Raspberry Beret (once each) in the last 6 months.

LOL! IKR? Once I have gotten spoiled to Sirius XM and Pandora, I personally don't see a point to even bother to listen to regular radio anymore.

Question, why is MJ mentioned so much on this board? Seems moreso than any other artist to me. I know they get compared alot (don't know why; apples and oranges!!) but does P get mentioned so much on MJ's messageboard?
