I really wish all this pseudoscientific nonsense would be relegated to a subforum. Why people waste their time and braincells on this, I'll never understand.

Woo, I love that type of stuff!! Prince had really beautiful handwriting. It says a lot about him as a person. He was very creative, loving, passionate, caring, kind and gentle......among many other things.

It counts as "and More"--besides, I'm not wild about some of the moderators choices about what goes here and what goes in concerts/associated artists/music (non-Prince) already. Now you want someone deciding what's kooky to put in a separate section? The second that happens, something will get moved there that doesn't belong, and it'll just be somewhere else I have to check so a real thread doesn't escape my notice. That said, I have no idea why I watched this--well, I do know why. Having decided to respond to the idea that there should be a subforum, I felt I should watch the actual subject of the thread. Not the best use of my time--and the man doesn't even address the very important fact that Prince would sometimes change W's into drawings of the female anatomy, which reveals just as much as anything he does talk about (and would annoy many women enough to explain why at least some of those relationships might have been cut short). smile

He had beautiful penmanship which does say a little about him but I honeslty think this guy's assesement is just made up. A lot we already knew about Prince. He performed because he loved doing it. Nobody records double the music they need to and does double the amount of concerts if they do not love it and are getting something to filll some void.

His signature shows a lot of self-confidence and creativity. I see a lot of love and passion there......

Prince has such interesting handwriting that I was looking forward to this analysis, although with some healthy skepticism. Now that I’ve heard it ... I’d say that was about 80% BS. Go to 5:16 in the video, for example, where the analyst has been going on and on about the downward t bar. Guess what? If you look in the background, about half the t-bars go up and half go down. Oh well.
.
It was still interesting and had some insights.
.
I’ve never seen anybody since high school with handwriting quite like Prince’s. It’s both very creative and kind of childlike, specifically like a middle school girl. That wasn’t meant as an insult. His handwriting was endearing and very distinctive. Can you imagine as a record exec that you have this artist who is furious with you and send you a handwritten letter with big loopy letters and hearts? That’s when you know you’re doing with an artist, a unique one.
