SPECIAL EVENTS

- PURPLE PREVIEW! Thursday May 17 7-10pm.

- Community roundtable- Thursday May 24, 6-8pm. What should a People's Museum for Prince be? What should it include? What purpose could it best serve? Join the discussion!

Now on facebook https://www.facebook.com/...forprince/

Free and open to the public.

The People’s Museum for Prince honours Prince's deep impact on so many lives.

This is an alternative museum, designed to give space to those whose lives were touched by Prince to tell their stories. It will be a multi dimensional exhibition including artwork, people's personal Prince stories, related objects, and items from private Prince collections. The idea is to create a portrait of Prince through the lens of those who loved him.

Please join us for the first exhibition and join the discussion as we develop the project to its next stage. This is a preview, a glimpse, of what we hope will become a permanent museum. I've been working full time on this project since Prince's death. It's a project of love, entirely not-for-profit and I welcome your participation and support. The idea is to establish a permanent home for the museum in Minneapolis and also manifest temporarily in other Prince cities all around the world.

Please feel welcome to contact me about the museum project if you have suggestions or would like to be involved as we develop it further.

Thank you,

I recently saw this in a Prince FB group. It looks so amazing and I admire your dedication, drive and spirit!

It still amazes me what a huge collective impact Prince had on so many of our lives. I hope you get fabulous responses and turnouts!

Eventually every cloud runs out of rain.

Nice idea, but I would change the name "Peoples" sounds like Communism and Kim Jong Un, the word People's unfortunately has an unsavory connotation with despotic socialist and communist regimes that deprived people of basic human rights and enforced poverty and spying on each other.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
