Cheap and cheesy isn’t always a bad thing. A lot of his videos were like this around this time. Probably impromptu and a cool glimpse into him and the band messing round at PP.

Some of them are great, like the wonderful Dolphin-video or the video for Race. But most of them are just cringeworthy, because he didn't put any effort in them.

i think dolphin is my favorit prince video there's just something about it
and it fits the music perfectly.

Its a great video only marred by Garcia's ribbon dancing. (not putting down Mayte, just dislike the ribbon twirling...Probably P's idea anyhow)..

Dolphin is probably the cheapest out the lot. Nothing to it. Mr Hayes top hat must have blew the budget. Simple and brilliant

its on one of them.I think i remember maybe a 30 second snippet of the eye hate u video being aired.Cuz i remember the vh1 logo on the bottom ride side of the screen with the prince symbol in front of it

Yea, I see what you mean. I was talking about the extended edit, which the lyrics are different and if I remember correctly, not even as racy as these.

Only a very small portion of the video was shown (channel changing) and then the "I Love You" from the end of the video, both on the VH-1 Break. The full video was never released anywhere.
