Unless someone is charged with something my guess is there’s not much more we’re going to hear.

So he visited a twin city hospital, he probably went to Walgreen's to get the scripts filled, he was pacing outside of Walgreen's while somebody was inside getting the scripts. Then who ever was driving, dropped him off at PP. EXCUSE me, if somebody just visited the hospital, why would a friend, just drop him off at home alone? mad

Maybe the rest of the records in the investigation will be unsealed.

Probably becasue when you were around Prince you did what he wanted you to do

and

not what YOU wanted to do...

Pretty sure he would not have let on even if he was feeling really bad..

Its easy to judge from the perspective of what we THINK WE Would have done

We've known from the first that he went for tests at North Memorial Health Care in Robbinsdale, Minn on 4/20.
This is NOT new news. This is when Dr Schulenberg saw him, took tests and prescribed meds. Prince was then seen standing by the black SUV outside the pharmacy.

Old news. He was treated and had some tests done the day before. He went to the dinner theater with Kirk, etc and was dropped off at Paisley at 8pm.

The appointment was not 8pm. But it was later in the day after regular appointment times.
8pm is when he was dropped off at Paisley, a fact detail we've also known from the start.

That's not quite the same thing, Laytonian - we knew he had had tests the DAY before - but we had been led to believe that they were conducted by Dr Schulenberg, in his office, not that Prince had visited an actual hospital, and certainly not in the evening, ie just prior to 8pm...

.

I dunno, maybe that's normal practice in the USA but in the UK, the GP (ie general practitioner / physician) has normal working hours, and works out of a surgery (office), not out of a hospital...An evening visit to a hospital suggests extra-ordinary care.

In the U.S. it depends upon what kind of tests are being performed as to whether they can be done in a physician's office or if one has to go to the hospital to have the testing done.

For example, if it's a simple lab draw, they may do that at the physician's office. But if it is some kind of x-ray, that will be done at the hospital on an outpatient basis.

This is going no where.

The article said they were still seeking the source of the Fentanyl.
That means they have no one to indict

The investigative files/reports will not be released.

The prosecutor will decline to prosecute because there is no one to prosecute.

Yes - that's the same here...I guess it was just the fact that it (the appointment / tests) now seem to have taken place in the evening that threw me.
.
Again, forgive me, I am referring back to the UK, hospital tests such as x-rays / investigations ordered by a GP (ie Dr Schulenberg) would still ordinarily be performed during normal working hours (9-5pm) not at 8pm-ish. For the latter to take place, again, it would have to be extraordinary / emergency circumstances.

The hospital visit on 4/20 was reported shortly after his death. Here's what the Star-Tribune published on 5/21/2016 about his last week:

-

"Sources with knowledge of the investigation have told the Star Tribune that despite putting on a calm face after his emergency treatment for an opioid overdose in Moline, Ill., on April 15, Prince grew increasingly agitated in the following days. That prompted one member of his staff to place a call to New York at 6 a.m. on April 20 — the day before the musician’s body was found — seeking advice from someone who had recently worked with the musician, a source said.

-

Later that day, Prince was given an intravenous treatment at a local hospital, a source with knowledge of the investigation said."

-

I think the sequence of events that day was hospital for treatment/tests, then to Walgreens to pick up scripts (spotted there around 7:30), then back to PP by 8pm. It hasn't been reported, as far as I know, when he arrived at the hospital and how long he was there.

Yes, this is what I had understood to be the course of events on 4/20/2016. The wording in this new article is confusing people.

hear hear! if they end up prosecuting someone for supplying him illegal drugs (or for whatever) maybe more facts about Prince will be made public over the course of the proceedings, and that will help satisfy folks who need more information about his death.

Actually, to me personally: It doesn't matter a ton. I've kind of come to terms with a story that makes sense to me and have accepted that I'll never know all the details (just like I didn't know everything about what was going on with Prince when he was alive).
