Wait what

are you actually being serious on the autism thing lmao

Because last time I checked autism is a developmental disorder and affects people all over the world, not just in America.

The rate of autism being diagnosed is much higher today because it is recognised easier in people these days. It's rumoured that Albert Einstein and many other prolific historic figures were on the spectrum. Our man Prince could quite possibly of been on the spectrum.

I actually personally believe he was high functioning.

Yeah.....cause 1 in 36 adults are walking around disbled. GTF outta here. Flouride is a fucking poison. Monsanto is fucking banned in other countries. Girls ovaries are shutting down from Gardasil. Japan fucking removed it and there's a class action suit in columbia. In the good old US of A,which is run by pharmaceutical companies, it's business as usual. People are so ducking blind. Smdh

Are you honestly kidding? Funny thing you should say that, seen as you know, I'm actually autistic myself and don't class myself as being overly disabled. Most cases of autism are high functioning like myself. We can work. We can function in daily life.

And it is not caused by flouride, you know why? Because I live in the UK where flouride is not in our tap water lmao. I also don't take any medication for autism, because nothing exists to 'cure' it (and not that it should for that matter). So no darn pharmacutical company is taking my money.

I'm not arguing against the fact that addatives to water can be a bad thing, I'm actually quite happy that the UK does not include flouride in its tap water. I might not have the pearliest teeth but I'm glad I'm not putting unnecessary chemicals in my body. I'm just saying you're absolutely crazy if you think autism which is a neurodivergent disorder is caused by chemicals in water.

First of all,I never said autism was caused by flouride in the water. I was responding to someone who said that it would be easier to poison our water and food supply than using chemtrails. Our food and water in America is poisoned. Our kids have chronic illnesses. They say 1 in 6 boys has some kind of neurological problem. This shit is not normal. My mom and most of her friends are on dialysis. I don't recall my grandparents generation having all these kidney issues.

Nonsense. I agree that there are parts of the United States (like Flint, MI) where there are specific, nameable environmental situations. But to say the "food and water in America is poisoned" as a general statement is moronic. It is not.

"They say" - who says? One in six boys? I don't think so.

And the reason you don't recall your grandparents generation "having all these kidney issues" is because they died before they got old enough to have diseases of old age. Your mom and most of her friends are on dialysis - why? Do they have uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension? Neither of those is the result of "poison" - unless (in the case of type II diabetes) they poisoned themselves with a crappy diet. What is the cause of their kidney failure? Is it the same for all of them? Do you even know?

Critical thinking, people.

You might not have said it outright but you implied it. The reason why people are being diagnosed with illnesses more often now is due to the advancements in technology that can pick up on these things. Like I say, autism which was at one point a somewhat rare condition is now one of the most commonly diagnosed conditions due to awareness and understanding. This goes for all neurodivergent conditions.

I won't deny I don't personally think food in America is amazingly healthy, I live in the UK as I said before and a lot of our food was regulated by strict EU food standards laws which differ to the US's. And with a population a lot higher than that of my country, I imagine food standards aren't as strict as there are more mouths to feed. Which may result in health conditions due to higher sugar content and the like. But at the end of the day it's not about eating in general- it's about WHAT you eat.

there does seem to be lead issues in the black community that one is not a conpiracy, older buildings i guess and kids eating the paint. Lots of issues for poor communities my people, the indians have ridiculous rates of fetal alcohol syndrome, something no one really even knew much about a few decades ago. America is hard on people and some of the things they do to make life more bearable cause untold damage.

I didn't imply it at all. And my grandparents lived into their 80s....thank you very much. Flouride is a poison. Look up flouride toxicity....it's a real thing. Flouride is supposed to be for topical use. Putting flouride in our water supply to help our teeth is like putting sunscreen in the water ...stupid. And speaking of sunscreen, they are now admitting that it's causing men to have a lower sperm count. Are cell phones causing brain cancer? Right now they're saying no. Who knows what they'll say years from now. Corporations run our government. Whatever they tell the government is true the government accepts and filters it down to us. Vioxx anyone????

Yea, and now they are saying that wearing too much SPF can cause skin cancer. Also, avoiding the sun altogether is not good because we need Vitamin D.

The rate of obesity and diabetes is from eating too much processed foods. That includes fast food. I read an article one time about healthy foods at the grocery store. They said that the interior aisles of the grocery store contains the bad food. Makes sense. Take note the next time you make a trip to the grocery store.

.

Thing is, now there is a Ecoli outbreak with romaine lettuce. We are supposed to eat healthy, but everytime you eat raw foods you run that risk. It shouldn't be that way.

.

I don't know about you, but when I was a kid, we never heard about these Ecoli outbreaks. They say our U.S. Government does a poor job of our food quality control, FDA. The U.S. should have the best quality food in the world, or at least in the top 5.

.

If you've ever traveled to Europe, you will see their food is higher quality. Americans eat too much bad food.

nothing sadder than a child being damaged before they even get a chance at life, both of my siblings were and they definitely showed the signs. by the grace of god i was spared. that one lady who went off and shot at the police about a year ago was confirmed to have had lead poisoning as a child. she was crazy as hell, she was shooting at the police with her kid right there.

Nah. I don't think it's intentional like Flint, but it's a problem that they know about and are allowing to continue. Isn't Flint still being poisoned? Didn't MJ try to tell us they don't really care about us? Lol.

In America, it's not so much that we are eating too much food, it's "what" food. American's eat too much saturated fats and sugar, which is the cause for heart disease, obesity and diabetes. Look at the countries with the healtiest population and look at their diets. I love the Mediterranean diet which consists of high Omega-3, fruits and vegetables and low carbs. We all need some carbs, so I don't follow the no-carb diet.

.

Some spice in your food is good, but not too much so that you get ulcers.

.

Okay, we went from Prince's paranoia to food, LOL lol

.

Well, Prince was mostly vegetarian and was careful of what he ate. He loved curry, and now I eat more curry! lol

well, lets kill two birds with one stone, i think he may have thought he was being poisoned, i do know other people thought that.

.

Yes, the jury is still out on that one.

ya, i try to refrain from name calling, there's enough of that in the world and online. just because someone doesn't agree with someone they're an "idiot", "mentally ill", "morally bankrupt" or what have you. the way i see it is this, Malcolm X believed some stupid shit, motherships, dr. yakubs and all kinds of shit and he's smarter than just about anyone. Also, i think it's a cop out to call names, people who are doing it to trump, i tell them they helped him win by being too lazy to do anything but dismiss him with names, by underestimating the dude, it gave him power. Trump is not stupid as he's been called, he's a very sharp, cunning man. some of the other things, he probably is but he is not an idiot.

Name calling is what people resort to when they don't want to change their belief based on new information - and some people would rather DIE than change their minds. Smarts has really nothing to do with access to information. It only helps to disseminate that information and see how it fits in (or not) with a narrative, i.e., when Snowden released information, people had to change their minds about certain things.

ya, people don't change without a good reason. People do though, in my studies of cults, the jonestown survivors usually are very open about what happened to them, how it happened, what they think now. Malcolm x was changing beliefs very rapidly towards the end and I'm sure he would have just left the ridiculous Dr. Yakub, mothership ideas behind without even mentioning he didn't believe in them anymore. I think the hardest belief systems to break are ones that were beaten into someone since they were children. Lots of christians have been christian since they were babies and they'll never change, same with any religion. Kinda sad in that it limits growth in a lot of ways sure, but it's their business, as long as i don't have to hear about it.

I don't think Trump is mentally-stable at all. He is rude, and very condescending, and if he doesn't like what someone says about him (media or whomever); he says it's fake news. He's a narcissist and disrespectful to minorities and women. And, you know Melania is not with him for love; she is with him for the fame and prestige. Trump is embarassing, and he's too much of a narcissist and too delusional to care if he makes an ass out of himself, LOL lol

I respectfully disagree with you. Trump does not have any positive qualities. He's a ruthless businessman. He is shrewd and does not treat other's with respect. Grab 'em by the pussy is his motto. How eloquent!! He got to where he is because of his father and that is why he acts the way he does; entitled and pompous. He treats people like they are beneath him. Nothing positive about that, imo.

How eloquent!! He got to where he is because of his father and that is why he acts the way he does; entitled and pompous. He treats people like they are beneath him. Nothing positive about that, imo.

it's funny, when i hear people complain about trump, it's usually a pure projection of their own and america's worst qualities. trump is exactly what america is, win at all costs, be a pushy bastard, take what you want, damn the consequences. People are hating the shit that's in them, I can't even stand most of the people I meet and the old friends I've had, some immigrants get more and more like that every day, it's america, it's this crazy country. and "no positive qualities" that's what i'm talking about, even the worst human scum on earth have positive qualities just like the best have negative qualities. People are funny though, they like to label and categorize. They like their Mother Theresa's like they are in their imagination and not how they really were and they like their Hitlers just like they are in their minds and won't hear anything else. People aren't that simple.

Trump is embarassing, and he's too much of a narcissist and too delusional to care if he makes an ass out of himself, LOL lol

anyway my apologies, i shouldn't have brought up a topic like trump because it's too distracting. I could have used a million examples. the point was, when people get that emotional about someone it clouds their judgement, that's why i have sympathy with the conspiracy theorists, i understand them, yes, white people have done heinous things and you damn well should be paranoid. I'm paranoid, it just doesn't take the form of looking at airplanes, I try to watch the fuckers around me and everyone that knows me, even if they like or love me, they know i'm paranoid and we joke about it.

In no way, am I criticizing or judging Prince. I am sympathizing. Prince's genius and success was a double edged sword. Sometimes his paranoia was warranted. Sometimes, I think he took his foibles and turned them into art and made the best of things. There is much to be admired in this man. But I also think he was more vulnerable to his fears and paranoia than many people believe. I think his art was always fearless but his life at times lacked balance and I think he paid the price. I feel a combination of admiration and geniune sympathy. I wish when he was alive he could have found a way to live in the world in a way that balanced weariness, self=protection, and critical thinking with real bonding, emotional openness and true personal freedom beyond the words in a song, the notes he played or the stage he performed on. I wish he could have gone to that party in St. Barts and enjoyed his success with Paul McCartney and CHris Rock without feeling he had to jump into a musical gig (money or no money he worked too damn much.) Fame is a bitch. It both allows you to express yourself through song or art and then imprisons you. Prince was almost of an artist for his own good and I think unfortuantely any anxiety or fears he had were exasperated by the naure of fame and enabled to continue with no checks.

Honestly, a single line in a song about chemtrails is a silly thing to use as an indicator of paranoia. He had an entire song about Ghosts, there's no scientific evidence they exist, right? Can 'Others here with Us' be used as a thesis for paranoia? Some lines are designed simply to make you think and force you to ask questions, not to be representations of his beliefs. He wanted people to have conversations about the possiblity and in the context of Dreamer, it highlights that the people are more unaware today than ever before, wake up! We don't know how deep his paranoia went in terms of his relationships and trust with people, we only know of examples given in books. However, considering how the man grew up as a child, being rich and successful in his early 20's, then super rich and a global superstar by 25 (Think about what was happening to him at 15, 16), I don't know how Prince couldn't be paranoid. I think Prince's reaction to his fears was to immerse himself in music and work. Playing always was his safest place, he didn't need a neverland ranch, he had his guitar and his piano to help him relieve and express whatever emotions he was feeling. The psychoanalyzing of Prince post mortem has become a gnashing to my brain. How do people assume to know what his mental state was as a man when you didn't know him personally? Regardless of Prince's paranoia or his religious beliefs, he did what he wanted to do with HIS life. The music is ours forever but the LIFE lived belonged to Prince and Prince alone. If I told you I am Christian, very Christian, would you assume that I am Conservative, Republican, a homophobe, a capitalist, a white male? If you assume those things, you'd be laughably wrong on all accounts. Even basing your opinion on the things we know, there's no way to know about Prince, don't line up a lyric in a song and his religious beliefs or his fears and connect some reality to it, because Prince lived one of the most prolific and amazing artistic lives in the history of the world. Anything that he lacked emotionally and physically, he placed in his art for YOU to enjoy and question not just about him but about yourself. Prince never portrayed himself as blameless or perfect, it's your fandom that put that expectation on him. It's something in you that see's Prince's 'talent' and says that a person THAT talented should be as perfect as possible. The true genius of Prince, is that he ultimately controlled and defined his identity and if that ultimately cost him his life so be it, who knows what I am doing that is costing me mine and I'm definitely not creating anything near as amazing as Prince did with his life.

Prince was at St Barts to perform, along with others like McCartney and probably got paid a couple of million or so.

No problem. I just think Trump sets a bad example here and around the world, and he just loves the constant attention/focus on him. I never really cared for him before he was president. He seems to have done a fine job of raising his children though and they seem smarter and more mature than he is, LOL lol

I don't think Prince was so much different than the rest of us. He questioned things, like we all do. Maybe a little paranoid too, like we all can be. I think we all should be aware of things and people around us and what's happening in the world; there's nothing wrong with that.

That's it right there. By sheer accident of birth, you get your "beliefs". I feel P recognized that - particularly when he said he and his sister created their own world. Why accept someone else's "creation" when you can make your own and make it far better? It's ALL made up anyway. On a different note, read the lyrics to Dear Mr. Man to gain a better understanding of where he was coming from politically.

God is my Sugar Daddy.

no, he's his own man, some people don't want to say anything positive whatsoever about him but if he didn't have any positive qualities, he wouldn't be where he is now. not just anyone could pull that off, fluke that it is. Anyway, i'm just making a point, I don't much like labels and I think it's lazy just to call someone a name, argue your point, work to get your point across instead of "oh, he's crazy".

I can't help you there. Seems like you got your head stuck in the sand.
Listen, I know it's kind of frightening having a sociopath running the most potent military in the world, but that's how fucked we are.
"Positive qualities" my ass. There is nothing lazy about the thousands of medical professionals that have observed Trump
and came to this terrible conclusion. You have a dangerous nutcase in the White House.
You'd better give the link I pasted a serious read.
