Found this. You can't get a 90 supply of class 2 drugs at 1 time.

n addition, refills are not allowed with Schedule II drugs and many states and insurance companies only allow you to get up to a month’s worth on a single prescription. But your doctor can write multiple prescriptions for a total of up to 90 days worth—for example, three 30-day prescriptions—with instructions to the pharmacist to fill them sequentially. If you need to take the drug for longer than three months, though, you’ll need to go back to your doctor for another prescription.

R U in MO? Wow, I'm surprised they give you 90-days of Xanax! My doctor would never do that, and I told him that I only take it once in a blue moon. Actually, the last time I had to take one was when my Dog passed away.

That's how it is where I live in CA. Usually the doctor will give 3X refills, then you have to go back to the doctor or have them approve another 30-day supply.

Do people get OTC drugs at the actual pharmacy counter? Might be some vitamins near a shelf but these stories are of Prince being at the Pharmacy counter. Do you think these stories would be going around if he was getting vitamins or patches for his back.

When I pick up my drugs at Walgreens, I can pay for anything else in the store at that same register.

If you don't know how things work, why are you claiming so?

Many stores such as the Walgreens around the corner from my job do not allow you to pay for prescriptions at other counters other then the pharacy counter and many stores like grocery stores especially Safeway do not allow you to pay for your food at the pharmacy counter.

I actually do know somethings and believe it or not I actually have made it to my age by being out in the world and knowing what is going on. Does someone have to have a Doctorate in shopping to know about what you can pay for at the Pharmacy counter?

No, I am referencing an early media report that he was picking up meds at the pharacy counter for a year. It is unsubstaniated but I certainly remember reading that. As far as AIDS goes I believe that came from the tabloids who just tacked it on to the story.

I do know that some drugs for organ and liver issues are used by HIV patients. Not sure what drugs he would be picking up if he was dying from AIDS or how he would be riding a bike, going to a jazz club or throwing a party.

As of now we have not seen any claims against the estate concerning AIDs or any contagious diseases.
