Songs You Wish He Would've Performed Live

I always thought Sex would have been fairly easy to play on stage and would've probably been a crowd pleaser.

There are rehearsals of it you can hear. One is twenty minutes long :smh:

Download all the shit hop that you can for your kids, neices, nephews, and their friends also. That will prevent them from going out and buying it and will prevent some shit hop sales. Every little bit helps - Andy

What a song! Sounds so fresh. If Ed Sheeran or someone made it today, it would b a sexy little hit.

Boy, did he ever. I've seen the video. This is a HIGHLY complex song and he basically did it with his eyes closed. So impressive!

I always wished for an acoustic version of WHEN DOVES CRY - I kind of love the barenaked ladies version of it.... i thought this song was massacred during Lovesexy/SOTT...and for whatever reason.. even though I think it is the best song ever written.. it never translated for me live.

God the Love theme in 1984-1985

What's the matter with your life
Is poverty bringing U down?
Is the mailman jerking U 'round?
Did he put your million dollar check
In someone else's box?
Tell me, what's the matter with your world

He played it at the pre-show soundcheck in Houston, TX in 2002. I was there. He asked for audience members to come sing it. I didn't know the words, dang it! But another guy did and he was excellent. Prince played the song by himself, on the Hohner.

On tour, it was done here:

11/19/2002 - Nippon Budakon

The performance of that song shows up on YouTube now and then, but I couldn't find it when I looked yesterday.

WOW was done live. There’s a nice soundboard recording of it on the 2015 Louisville show. It was also done on the P&AM tour.

He did it twice at Xenophobia - once acoustic, once full band.

he never did a full version of Little Red Corvette ala like the one on the album, he always did short versions or jam like variations.
