Also, for anyone in Ireland or the UK, it's available on Sky OnDemand in HD. It's actually been available for a long time now, I just thought I'd let people know in case they weren't aware.

It's not. Showtime has the rights.

And here's the link to the purchable one on Amazon. $9.99 to own it in HD isn't bad.

Where are the people who bitched about not being able to see his because they did not have Showtime? Who did not see this coming.

yeahthat

But given that the film was out of print for a while, it's good to see it become available again if anyone missed it.

The opening guitar riff of SOTT still gives me the chills. music

What was that?

Aftershock!

I need / want to OWN the music, on Cd, Lp, Dvd, Blu-Ray, and.. I detest the new streaming...

Streaming is killing the industry, the physical products are going down, in sales...

Once again I am not a man and even if I were what difference would it make?

What bearing does that have on this topic? Most of us do not own SOTT on DVD and that format is not as popular as it use to be. People like streaming and I knew that this is where the film was going to end up.

I own it on vhs, dvd and blu-ray, so why would I detest it being available in HD or streaming services? This is where the industry is, and if one wishes for others to discover Prince’s music and films, we should be glad it’s on this platform, as that’s where eyeballs are right now. It’s only through Prince’s work continuing to draw interest that we can hope for more releases that longtime followers DON’T already have. So, for those reasons, I don’t shit on streaming services. Though, like you, I’ll choose to own the product over streaming any day.

It’s cool to see SOTT available.

Let me answer u:

my guess is the physical products will disappear soon, because of streaming:

that's the reason I detest streaming services,

Eye no Im old, because someone said so eralier in this thread, however I PREFER CD-LP-DVD + BLU-RAY.

Dislike the new phenomenon, streaming.... ok, just in my opinion smile
