Adorecream

Even though I am not a sexual person at all, my favourite Prince songs are all the nasty ones.

.

Do Me Baby

Adore

Electric Intercourse

When 2 R in love

We can Fuck

International Lover

Sexy Dancer

Head

Cream

Insatiable

Scandalous

Baby ure a trip

.

They are all about sex, how coincidental is that.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Dirty Prince...I can't lie,I prefer the outrageous,nasty stuff like "Head","Dirty Mind",etc.

Right on Soul! It's what made me fall in love with his music in the first place. When I hear new lyrics like 23 scriptures in a one night stand, I just want to cover my ears and run. WTF?

Is this a version by Prince with these lyrics or somebody else cover the song?

I've absolutely heard Prince change the lyrics to Gett Off to these. Also heard him change "physical thing" in I Feel For You to "spiritual thing", among others. Maybe D.M.S.R.?

I always felt it would have been better to do instrumental versions of those songs. Head is a NASTY jam even without the lyrics. wink

Exactly, a lot of those songs, when he was on stage he was usually stripping down, groping someone or making out with his guitar.

.

Pretty much up to the Purple Rain era, he would jack off his guitar, hump it, hump the floor, hump the speakers, and later on hump the microphone stand and carry it around as a phallic extension (Although I am sure Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler did this before him). The climax being lights on the fretstock exploding making it look like the guitar was ejaculating (Although Hendrix started guitar sex, setting them on fire was dangerous and making a guitar "cum" with lighter fluid was probably not suiatble for Prince).

.

Jeez, there are even pictures of Prince licking his guitar (Like in the first post of this thread - Dirty Mind and Controversy era of course), the dude in the early 80s was just preoccupied with sex, and we have not even started on his suggestive guitar and bass notes. Even in the cream video, you have Levi doing sexy guitar licks, while Prince at one stage appears to spinning his guitar around, placing it between his legs and aiming the fret stock at his ass.

.

It was music and striptease, I wish I had been to more early concerts watching him basically root all his musical instruments, but DVDs of them are enough. Prince was sick and that is why I loved it.

Could be djthunerfunk mean "Nasty" as in "Funky"? You say Prince was sick, yes sick in the 80's. razz He didn't stay "sick". haha One interview of him in the 2000's seem like he was ashamed of some of the stuff he did in the 80's. Even some award show, he was telling young folks you don't have to do some of the wild things he did...

I suspect djthunerfunk meant nasty as in funky-wicked-wild etc lol

.

Yeah that was a bit of a let down at the show where he had the tribute:Alicia Keyes(pregnant on the piano doing Adore) Esperanza Spelding(If I Was Your Girlfriend) Janelle Mone(Let's Go Crazy) Patti LaBelle(Purple Rain)

.

He was very 'apologetic'

razz I was drawn to the dirty Prince. I found Prince to be not talented in his singing. As a woman. I found Prince a very attractive man. These feelings that I have for him since '83. Nobody can understand what Prince actually meant to me when the first time I saw him.

Prince being the way Prince wanted to be was fine by me. Why not choose both?

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
