Seems like yesterday when I planted the seed for this story to happen. Prince wouldn't have ever done this had it not been for Tavis making the ask. Believe that!! He was just recovering from hip surgery as well. Bless his heart.

There are scares on his legs mentioned in the short report and the surgery is mentioned in the Ebony article. I am not sure why so many people do not believe he had this surgery. It shows you the agenda that some people have that Prince never really had a reason to use pain meds in the first place. Or the idea that he never saw a doctor. Just stupid and shows a lack of critical thinking skills.

I didn’t think the autopsy was ever released.

The short report was releashed and it did list scars. The detailed report will not be made avalible to the public.

I was at that show at Paisley Park. It was a great show - and he played for three hours. But he could barely walk (he had drop foot on his left side). It would make sense if he had something done after that.

I do not know if he grew to love them or just needed them. Also it is easy to get hooked on them especially when docs were giving them out like candy.

I do not ever think we will know if he got hooked from the surgery or if he continued to have pain and did have to continue to take them with things going out of control. Or if he has other aliments.

I do know that Billy Sparks said he had a hip procedure and not replacement so maybe he had some alternative procedure that did not take away the pain.

Drop foot is sorta like a pimp walk ,but not as cool...the way you walk when your leg is numb or stiff

I figured that it happened sometime in there after I saw the video of him performing Dance 4 Me on Le Grand Journal on 10/14/09. He performed the whole song seated.

in Mayte's book she say something about folks wanting him to join Scientology and Prince

says i don't need anyone to tell me how to be with God. this Let me know that Prince had the where with

all to make a decision to have surgery if he so chose. I don't think he would have let a "religion" keep

him from that. i think he knew God didn't mind surgery. imo.
