Would 'She's Always in My Hair' have fit on Purple Rain?

'She's Always in My Hair', 'Pop Life', and of course 'Raspberry Beret' always seemed to fit in my mind best on Purple Rain, especially the first.

Do you think any of those tracks, but especially She's Always in My Hair would have fit on Purple Rain?

A certain kind of mellow.

Oh my YES! Easily in fact and there would have been no need to cut something else for it. The track count would have been just fine with one more song. The question is how would it's inclusion have played out in the film? How would he have tied the track in from a cinematic point of view using thee PR script? Musically though, it's a definite yes.

It definitely would've fit on the Purple Rain album. As far as the movie, perhaps it could've been played as The Kid was taking Apollonia home after their first night together. Although brief, I believe that was the only time they were a happy couple until the end of the movie.

It wouldn't have fit, I'm not sure of the timings exactly but I don't think you could squeeze it onto a vinyl album without going to a double.

RIP sad

Maybe if Jill was in the film more, I could see it and Wednesday being part of a longer sub-plot. It'd be a different film though wouldn't it
