I know it's not a Song, but I love his Quote: "Like books and BLACK LIVES, Albums still matter."

I might usw that as my signature, it's just a great Quote.

It's always interesting that when Prince was interviewed, he'd tell the interviewer what he thought they wanted to hear. So when he was interviewed by a Latino, he'd say there was some Latino in him... When he was interviewed by comedian Chris Rock, he said that comedians had a great influence in him...
So don't put too much faith into what an artist says in interviews... It's just another way of blowing up a smokescreen...

i think you're referring to george lopez, i don't remember him saying he was latino but that he may have been because he didn't know who his mom's dad was or some such thing. and as for comedians being an influence, it was true, chaplin and richard pryor were big influences on him, in my opinion, he never said that but the morris character i always thought was a combo of kidd creole and richard pryor. Interestingly, richard pryor's film company had the oppurtunity to produce Purple Rain but Richard didn't even know who Prince was at the time.
