The Vault: There has got to be A LOT of unknown Prince songs from 1980! From the Vault song listings it shows that Prince only recorded these songs in the year 1980:
18 total songs of which 8 were released on DIRTY MIND and a few others released as b-sides. For anyone else this is a prodigious amount of output but for Prince - who routinely wrote and recorded up to 50 or 60 songs a year (for example, the Years 1983, 1986, 1987, etc.) - I am thinking that there has got to be dozens of songs this year that aren't known...

As we have seen, there are many recordings that were not known to anyone in many years. 9-5 People and the Deliverance album some of them. Coco Boys wasnt even known if it was an actual song before its release. [Edited 10/13/17 8:54am] Straight Jacket Funk Affair
