Back in the 80s, Anyone else making a compilation and a spare couple of minutes at the end of a cassette used to stick Venus De Milo in that gap? My 90min tapes just had to be full.

'Had U': missed u. called u. held u...

'Dinner with Delores': must be some kinda sin, like a Brontosaurus, she was packing it in.

Does 'Dionne' count? That song wasn't that short or was it? I love it either way!

Okay, I just gotta ask to make sure I didn't miss something somehow...I know you have access to material that's not widely available, but "It Ain't Over Til The Fat Lady Sings" didn't leak widely, did it? Or did I miss it? Or, and this is possible, did it leak along with a bunch of other stuff and I somehow just failed to ever notice that I got it at some point?

It leaked, a few years ago. Although it fades out at around two mins. Pretty sure eye records rehashed it at least once

Well, certainly not "My Little Pill".

sister is short and quirky, i always thought it was pretty good. i don't think it was even 2;30 was it? you'd have to go back to the fifties to find rock songs that averaged around 2 minutes.

The adlibs on "Little Red Corvette (Extended Dance Mix)", when the alternate bass line kicks in, up until all instruments get cut.

That bass line, it transcends the whole song, it's like the 2nd chorus of "Blue Limousine" or the last verse of "The Dance Electric",
that kind of musical Purple glow suspended in the dark, I could drink it for hours.

The coda of "The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker".
The coda of "Forever In My Life".
The coda of "U Got The Look".

The bridge of "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man",
but lucky me this one has been fullfilled, there's the full version out there.

And I wonder about a "Tamborine" that would go on for ten minutes
on the same sexual frenzyness than "La, La, La, He, He, Hee".
These incredible background vocals, they go by so fast (like trolley cars).

Hey, I like that one! I remember downloading it back in '94, and I thought it was incredible. True, it was when I first started getting into the broader world of outtakes (beyond the Black Album, which I did have before its release, but it sounded terrible), but I still liked it. Plus, at the time, I was using university computers, so I had to store the things on personal floppy discs--and if I remember right, My Little Pill was one of the few that I was getting that fit on a single disc.

Arrogance.

There - completely forgot about this and then listening to the album it came pouring out of the stereo - absolutely magic.

The Symbol Album is pretty special, actually...so many fantastic tunes....and Arrogance is a hysterical stomper of a tune!

But of course.

And also "Ronnie Talk To Russia", which comes in like an elephant in a porcelain shop and make Controversy almost derail, before "Let's Work" puts it back on the tracks.

Not really, but almost a tune, we have the "Hello, how R U" outro of Darling Nikki, which has strong arguments for being the quirkiest one.
