Did i once own a SOTT cassette single with SOTT Instrumental on it?

Just popped in my head. It was peach and black in colour. I'm sure I'm not dreaming as i write this. I'm pretty sure it was a thing.

LOL. I've read about the Mandela effect and I'm amazed that's a thing, I kept the newspapers from the day he was released. But still, I'm convinced i did own this. There was no crowd noise like at the end of the movie. I'm 100% convinced this was real. Cover peach, writing black. I swear!!! Perhaps a European release only?

Track list was possibly..

Sign O The Times

La La La Hee Hee Hee

Sign O the Times (Instrumental)

Check Discogs.

It only lists one cassingle with the cover you described but had the two songs from the single on both sides. Everything else was CD or Vinyl.

I do love the end credits intrumental version. And the mood of watching the credits with that is ominous.

It just played on showtime again a few minutes ago... weird to see it on mainstream cable now. And sad.

Fun Fact: you can hear a little bit of the vocal track bleed through on that instrumental version that closes the film.

I don't think it's likely that such a thing exists without either me nor Princevault being aware of it. Not impossible but pretty unlikely.

I think you got it all mixed with the instru at the end of the video concert.

If, however, you ever found such a cassette, by all means let us know, that would be quite a discovery nod

No it's impossible. I've got mine and there's no SOTT instrumental.

Let’s not forget the Let’s Go Crazy Mandela Effect (some people “remember” it as “we are gathered here today to CELEBRATE this thing called life” and in the New Girl episode one of the characters says “we are gathered here today to celebrate this thing called Schmidt”). Personally I think it just has to do with people expecting it to say celebrate and therefore falsely thinking that that is the case.

I swear I had a dark red Raspberry Beret 45 (that looked black unless i held it up to a bright light) and a cassette of the album that was multi-colored too

There is no crowd noise at the end credits instrumental version of SOTT in the movie...

The only Discogs entry for this suggests the same play list on both sides, so unlikely to have the instrumental version on there.

I had the cassette single you're talking about though, before I binned all my tapes in a moment of madness in the mid-2000s.
