Prince used to watch Politically Incorrect

I was watching an interview with Jay Leno and he said he watches Politically InCorrect ( used to too, and now Bill Maher on HBO still do). Makes me think about his JW and when this came into his life and was he watching these types of shows or did he stop? Thoughts for anyone?

JW was already starting to be in his life by 1999 when he did that interview. However, I think I remember him saying that he watched real time with Bill Maher later in life. But I could be mistaken.

Here are some movies he claimed to love after the JW conversion,

th?id=OIP.Q6KdxzM_NX_2Opf-j2DsYgEsED&w=217&h=178&c=7&qlt=90&o=4&pid=1.7 Rated R...

lucy2.jpg Rated R.

th?id=OIP.7-K1isVbDIW4Py_jMrK7AgEFEs&w=182&h=209&c=7&qlt=90&o=4&pid=1.7 Andy and him apparently watched this together. Jane goes topless.

th?id=OIP.kQq66nC8vhv_KsrfPaqtqQEsC7&w=270&h=168&c=7&qlt=90&o=4&pid=1.7 Lala said he really liked Life of Pi (especially the cinematography). This is PG but the movie is about a kid who decided to believe in 3 major religions at the same time. (so he is a hindu, a Christian, and a Muslim simultaneously.)

He was a fan of Barbarella back in the Symbol album era. The look back then and theme was based from the Godfather and Barbarella movies.

But apparently, he still liked watching Barbarella later. Old habits die hard.

I would have totally movie=geeked out with this man. IN the 90's, when I was a teenager, I was a Godfather fanatic. Godfather II, to his day, is probably my favorite movie--I used to pretty much have that script memorized. I still know parts of it. I also loved Amadeus as a kid and I kid you not I bought the director's cut (which is stellar, by the way) about 6 years ago (years before I became a Prince fan.)

Don't forget the Matrix trilogy. he used to reference that quite a lot.

Yes. I could see how a debate show, that's about the exchange of ideas, was dangerous for him.

When Bill had Politically Incorrect on ABC, he used to do a segment called Get Over Yourself and held up the symbol O+)-> as a means of saying " You're Too into your EGO ." I believe he-Bill- used it as a way to humble the particular person he felt was a bit too big-headed.

Yes I remember him saying he loved the Matrix. I do recall Prince saying in an interview, "he is music". That moment took me to the matrix--keanu saying he is the one, I am the one. I can see how the Matrix appealed to him because it was an alternate reality within a reality=Prince's reality was music in this world. Deep I know..

Its funny but Bill actually said really nice things about Prince after his death. On Real TIme, he talked about Prince's androgyny and dual image publically as being a good thing. I wonder if he knew that Prince had publically stated that he liked the show and felt a bit like a jerk for assuming that the symbol was about P's inability to "get over" himself.
