I can't speak for others, but for me, it was the whole package, the face, body, talent, etc.! To me, Prince was the sexiest man ever! There was no other celeb that I was more attracted to, or thought was sexier....he was it for me! It's funny, because I don't think that I would have gone for a short man in my "real" life. I've always been attracted to taller men, about 6'0 and over, and I've never wanted a man that's equal to my height or under (I'm 5'4). But Prince was the exception. His height didn't bother me at all, neither did the fact that he wore clothes that most men would never wear, wore makeup, curled his hair, wore heels, etc. To me, that made him all the more sexy. I know that some thought it was weird, and many thought he was gay, but that didn't matter to me, I just thought that he was the most handsome, most sexy man ever! What made him sexy to me was the way he talked, soft, deep, and smooth, that little hip walk he had, that thick, black hair, those big eyes, the tiny mustache, the neatly lined beard, those lips and that smirk/smile, his muscles and tiny little plump butt, the heels he wore, and even the chest hair.......I was attracted to it all! :lol Sometimes, I used to ask myself why was I so attracted to him? All I knew was, I just was, I couldn't explain it. I guess we all have that one person, usually a celebrity, that we just think is the sexiest, most attractive person there is, and for me, that person was Prince.

You just about said it all! And I thought it was only the music that attracted me all these years.... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

He hypnotized people to think and see whatever he wanted us to. He never looked short to me onstage either to me.

Isn't it funny that he really didn't look tiny when he was performing? I went to Paisley Park in May and only then did I get to see how tiny his clothes really were! He definately was a small man but he never let it stop him from becoming the giant that he was.

That he played the piano. His love of color and sensual fabrics in his clothing. His attention to details. His beautiful hands. The fact that he wrote in his notebooks. Everything else you have all said!

His handwriting was even sexy. It was beautiful right-slanted old school cursive with little eccentricities thrown in like drawings of eyes for the word "I" and flair at the beginnings of the words. . Also when he would occasionally print, his "a"s were written like they were typed. What I love about the first time I saw his handwriting is I realized it was very similar to my one (except a bit neater and smaller.) I love writing in cursive and I remember my friend and I in elementary school used to practice our handwriting (different slants, angles, bubbly letters, less spread apart, more spread part, smaller, bigger....) I ended up settling on traditional/formal handwriting with some flair. I hate printing and I have to do it all day long in my job. Cursive is faster, more comfortable and more fun for me.

Being 5'2" myself, it is intruiging to imagine being nearly eye to eye when he gives me this look! Style is the second cousin to class

I think that may be one of the problems, I know you said "tend", but the love of macho guys IMO is extremely exaggerated..... anyway. 1) from back in the day, the Fro (it was stated in some interview how the bigger the fro, the more the girls liked the guy) 2) the eyes, 3) the lips are extremely sensual looking 4) women can connect with the songs where he's the lover done wrong, the lover who would do anything for you 5) the cool swagger 6) the talent is sexy 7) for me I found his spirtual journey, his determination to make it as a musician, his resolve to own his music and his attempts to educate artist added to his sex appeal. I don't know, to me he just exuded sexiness and sex appeal and I don't really understand how other people didn't/don't see it.
