Iron mountain is known for being the tops in storage but it does seem weird if Paisley had climate control vault and the storage was free. They are generating bill but it could also be for insurance purposes.

So let's put this in perspective, you don't tell the heirs the vault is being emptied, it remained safely in Paisley Park for over 40 years, there was no concern to expeditiously move it in the past year, according to Comerica they have not yet inventoried the contents and provided that level of info to anyone which is why they can't determine the tax obligation to close the estate, so they take it upon themselves to ship it to the iron mountain facility in California no less, which is in close proximity to who? Yep, Warner Bros who will now have access to not only the masters under their contract, but all of his life's work since it has not been itemized before the move. Can you say Hoodwinked, Bamboozled, taking advantage of a dynasty, disrespecting his legacy. It doesn't look like we will see any new music anytime soon with the litigation that will follow this shady move. Do you smell that? Smells like Injuction to me.

LR, it makes sense that there would be top-notch storage in LA given the prominence of the film and music industries there. There was certainly some risk involved in transporting the Paisley Park Valut material to LA. Hopefully, someone at Comerica made a careful cost-risk-benefit analysis that transporting and storing the PPV material in LA was worth the risk and cost in return for preserving the PPV material.

But nobody would have excess to the vault, other then the Estate, correct? WB can't just waltz in there and get what ever they want. ?

Totally Agree! If Comerica doesn't care what the heirs think or what they have to say, they probably think even less about the fans and will continue doing their own thing as long as it prolongs their control and ability to maladminister, eventually draining the estate dry.

The dude from Spotify Comerica hired as the entertainment advisor can Waltz, Cha Cha, Cuban Shuffle, River Dance, or Wobble Wobble right in there with WB or whomever will give him the biggest return on his percentage just like that. Such an indignity to Prince and what he stood for.
