I think a lot of fans would think there are people more qualified to speak about Prince as a person. But look, it's a photobook, she's a big name that will get a bit more P.R. for the book - it's just a puff piece, who cares. She'll be kind and reverential so good for them.

Someone on Beyoncé’s staff or management team wrote the forward for Beyoncé. Beyoncé does not know how to read or write.

The cover photo is everything and since I don't really care about Beyonce, I may or may not read the forward.

Beautiful, Loved and Blessed

Thank You Prince

It seems that one of the major issues people have with Beyonce is the over-hyped factor. Here it is again with her foreword making major news and almost overshadowing the book itself. However, I don't mind her bring attention to Prince. Perhaps she should have scheduled a press conference about PR Deluxe and that would have brought way more attention to it worldwide than it got from all other sources combined. Sometimes you have to use craziness to your advantage!

I'm sure you'd also be the first to accuse or criticize her for using a teleprompter instead of memorizing lyrics, so which is it? rolleyes

If i were, I would have replied directly to the comment mentioning Rhonda Smith, just like I did now, replying to yours. Since i did not, it's safe to assume I was replying to the original post.
That's thread 101 for you. YW.

Look get out of your feelings. Her parents did not care about her education and sometimes when she opens her mouth it shows. It does not mean she is not a good person and she can certainly improve herself if she wants to but do not get offended if people point it out.

You are probably more worried about then she is.

Beyonce did attend some high school. Don’t think that would be possible if you don’t know how to read or write.

Why not get someone that was close with him or a contemporary? They could have asked Janelle Monae to do it since she is a modern act that Prince respected and was actually friends with. Y'all are delusional if you think Beyonce wrote that forward. She is not articulate or graceful with words. Tired of those overrated Carters always trying to milk off an association with Prince.
