The hilarious part is when they think they're being slick, not realizing that they just played themselves. lol

Yep lol And we know what their aim is. "Anyone who tries to play me, plays themselves" ..P . . [Edited 8/2/17 15:51pm]

And have the nerve to think that whining like a baby is gonna change something. Smh.

Like Rogi said, we all agreed that vandalism is wrong. My thing is that all of this garment-rending and weeping, gnashing of teeth and selective outrage is bogus. I even mentioned that it's nothing new on this site but of course the other points I made somehow got ignored and now we have this pretense that the only thing I did was question noobs.

I said a whole lot more than that but you see for yourself everything else I said is being ignored. Hmmm.....wonder why? hmmm

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Straight forward question. How long have you been an m1 fan?

I actually wasn't a M1 fan at all. In fact when they got married I was kinda shell shocked that Prince actually got married.

When I joined here, everyone was against M1 and the more I read the hate posts, made me want to check her out.

Then the book came out and I did the book club. It made me see her in a different light and that no matter what anybody said, she was still human. Now that doesn't mean that I agree with everything she's done or think that she is 100% right on things. And people on the book club did post links to her interviews that she has done where she does say different things, so that kinda caught my eye too.

But, this hate for any of his associates is getting dangerous. There is no need to threaten anybody.

BTW, I still don't see what she seen in Tommy Lee. eek

I don't know I have not been there. The other photos show the spray paint & damaged fence/gifts in one shot. Now could you answer my question please. How long have you been an m1 fan? [Edited 8/2/17 16:10pm]

Sorry, I did answer. Didn't want to combine it in 1 post since I guess I didn't know the unwritten rule about it before. lol

That is exactly the point. When the loons were outside PP ragging Tyka, Judith Hill, Kirk, etc. in April I did not see these people caping for them. If the metric is the fact that we don't know any of these people then technically that applies to ALL of the various associates. Therefore what is not allowed toward Mayte or Mani should not be allowed toward any former associate or even Prince himself for that matter.

The same standard should apply to everyone imo.

A couple of weeks ago Jerome posted something on his Instagram or Twitter (can't remember which) that "threats" against him would be taken seriously and were being reported. I mean, Tricky?? Come on. I'm not sure if any other associates have received something similar and are staying mum about it but I don't think it's just Mayte. Hostile behaviour is just wrong period. Prince was and never will be anyone's possession. If you want to display your loyalty, right the wrongs and buy his music. He doesn't need and never condoned violence.

Why would he be getting threats? I don’t get it.

I don’t know though some on FB have said it is. I know the sidewalk along highway 5 is city property; not sure if all or only some of the fence is.

Yes the fence was damaged and has since been repaired. Can’t say for sure if that was vandalism or weather related. If I remember correctly we did have some high wind/thunderstorms around the time I noticed the fence issues.

No it’s all one fence. The only thing I don’t know is if the city owns all or certain portions of the fence. I know when the Prince was murdered crazies were protesting at the corner of Highway 5 and Audubon they claimed the police told them they could be there so long as they weren’t blocking traffic as the sidewalk is city property.

From the pictures I remember seeing I thought the fence where fans put stuff and the City finally made PP take the fans gifts down was in front of PP.

Mayte has to have know that lots of people would not be happy with her book, and some of those people would act out. You can not have the upside (the money, a little air time, and reinserting herself into princes world, etc) without the downside. this type of thing is par for the course when you set your private life out for public consumption. 99.9% of people have no idea who mayte is, the person that spray painted did it at paisley because it is one of the only places where people would know who she is...

Seriously. I agree. Makes sense to me that a lot of folks might join up after he died. That's how it works with artists, right? People take more interest once they're gone. It's not some weird "you're not a true fan because you only just now showed up". I think some folks are grading their Prince cred by how long they've been around, which may have SOME merit, but it doesn't mean people or bots are swooping in with an agenda or whatever.

Perhaps that is why most people in the public eye shield their children from such exposure?

Some do, some don't. It's a sad world anymore that people in the public eye can't enjoy regular life with their kids.

Does "regular life" include posting pics of your child, when you're in the public eye, on your Instagram or Twitter? That photo doesn't look like a paparatzzi took it. Some of the videos I've seen also are "home made". I would just think that she'd be a bit more protective of her child, but that's just me. This is what the Mayor of Chanhassen posted on his FB page.

PAISLEY PARK FENCE -

Friends... I took this Video about 3:00 pm central time today, 7/26. The fence has been lifted. The memories remain in place, I believe. The graffiti in front of the fence has been covered over.

Thanks to the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota Government for repairing this damage.

There remains a substantial amount of tributes in the three tunnels. The city has no plans to cover or erase those tributes.

Hoping you all "Come back to Chanhassen" to enjoy our community and our welcoming hospitality.

#PaisleyPark #Prince #Love4OneAnother.

Right but the fence down by Riley Creek tunnel is where they’ve allowed people to put stuff up. That’s the part of the fence which was broken & they fixed.

Ok well I didn’t see those photos. If that was an anti-Mayte thing it’s pretty stupid as there are no Mayte tributes on the fence.

I can't believe this thtead is still going strong. Sadly, there really is so little else to discuss right now.
The fence is all one long fence. I went there last week. The area of sidewalk that was spray painted is not visible from PP or the road as the path gradually goes downhill into the tunnel right there. It was getting dark already so i didnt get a good look at the fence but the sidewalk had been freshly painted so the offensive message was no longer visible.
Idc who its about or what it says writing on the sidewalk shouldnt be allowed or encouraged. Besides the obvious - its rude, destructive, and not in keeping with Prince's Love4oneanother theme - it just looks messy and trashy. The path (sidewalk) is public property and part of a larger system of popular, well-kept trails within the city. It just makes Prince look bad to residents who use the trail and see the mess his "fans" have made in that area. Thats really not fair at all.
Its still hard to believe adults are responsible and even proudly so!?!
It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Always been "crazy" in Prince communities. From way back at alt.music.prince (amp), aol days to the org, HQ, even Prince's own websites (too many websites to list).

Nought wrong with "crazy" as long as it's good funny harmless "crazy" lol

E.g Harmless crazy = when we all attempted to get RD a name check. Attempts to get Prince to itch his head or nose to recognise name check NPG Music club members smile

E.g To threaten another, spray/write defamatory graffiti, destroy property, to attack an associate or family members, to bring children into things is Nutszoid crazy. Just stop it! Please seek help. If ur thinking doing such things to protect or out people on Prince's behalf he would NOT approve. This was not Prince's style he would abhor.

I've seen lawsuits when the media posts pics of celebrity offspring. Most media pics of kids are grabbed @ airports or other unavoidable places and most celebrities aren't "touchy feely" with their fans when it comes to their kids and family precisely because when you put something out on social media, you have NO control over what happens to it after. Celebrities know this aspect of the population since they're exposed to them hence bodyguards, security, etc. If you don't want to be a target, don't wave a red cape at the bulls.
