To me this isn’t even about Mayte. It’s about the lack of respect some people have for other people’s property. Some of the stuff spray painted that had nothing to do with Mayte still showed a complete lack of respect. These aren’t fans paying tribute they’re goons who are bored and apparently have nothing better to do. Put some surveillance cameras down there and a big ‘ol sign that says no writing on the sidewalk. The sign should be a city sign since they own the sidewalk.

The person who claimed responsibility for doing the graffiti initially is BoycottMayte who is on Instagram. Seems like it is run by someone young given the commentary. https://www.instagram.com...CgwnkFawd/

Please, stop with this business that "their hate runs so deep they have to use a pseudonym for Mayte." There is nothing "hateful" about using M1 and M2 as a quick reference to Mayte and Mani and the only one who sees it as hate is you apparently. I use it all the time and I have no hate for either woman nor any of the other women in P's life (is it okay if I refer to him as P?). If I say OF4S instead of OldFriends4Sale, is that showing my hate for the mod? How about if I were to say Luv, instead of Luv4U? See how silly it is to make abbreviations all about hate rather than the shortcuts they really are? Now you're going to twist a typo, Orince, into something different, hate speech? I saw your first comment and thought it was hysterically funny. But of course you had to ruin that and start with your nonsense once again as you always do. Why are you always stirthepot ?

ETA: Oh, and just as an aside, it really and truly is okay to have an opinion about others. Differences in opinion do not equal hatred.

Well, if you never said 'Orince' then you're ok. That 'typo' is unforgivable! The others are mods (let's call them moderators so as not to cause offence) and it's obvious who they're referring to. M1 and M2 could mean anything to anyone unacquainted, and people shouldn't have to guess. How far do you want to take it. Let's have CR1 for Chelsea Rogers to distinguish her from CR7, Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm not sure, unlike say Cristiano, Mayte or Mani would want to be referred to as 'M1' or 'M2'. (Btw I'm taking the M1 from London to Manchester later today). Good day!

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

All sorts of people go to all sorts of events, doesn't mean they appreciate anything. I qualified that statement, so, no, Prince "fans" wouldn't. Concert "attendees" or those who know nothing about his life's work obviously will.

If it wasn't a Prince fan, then they probably wouldn't know a thing about Mayte, and wouldn't care about spray painting hate towards her. Besides it's the Boycott Mayte page laying claim to it, and they are Prince fans. sad

The thing here though, is that neither Chelsea Rogers nor Cristiano Ronaldo are ever discussed on prince.org. The abbreviations used are for people who are spoken of frequently on these pages and they are well-known abbreviations that have been used for ages by others posting here. They are also referred to as M1 and M2 in other places in the land of social media so it's not unheard of and people do know what they mean. Anyone who is new could ask, just as they would ask about anything else they didn't know about.

Good day to you too.

If a Christian burns down a Synagog, are they really a Christian? M1 has was in the press and did TV interviews to promote her book, so anyone who watched knows about her and her story.

Normally one, who is not a celebrity or the like doesn't get that much hate just talking about a book she wrote.

Pretty much this. Only Prince fans would know she is or even care enough to pull that dumb horseshit they did. Only place I see hate for her is right here. I can guarantee whoever did it is an org member.

Man, Prince's death sure brought out the crazies.

I see a lot of selective memory & selective observation here, regarding quite a number of things.

They may be fans, but it's quite obvious the boycott IG & the "m1 crusaders" types are Post April '16 'fans'

I see a few right here in this thread, trolls faking the funk. But like I said, I see a lot of selective memory here too.

I've not shared how I feel about her one way or the other with you. I have taken issue with her version of the "facts" and posted the appropriate links in the pertinent threads. They are not my opinion, simply links with alternate information. You can view it however you wish, it still does not translate into you "knowing" how I feel.

"Alternative facts", you say? How trendy. Rings a bell.

Mayte knows more about Prince than the entirety of this board in all likelihood and is a victim of jealous Prince groupies who just KNOW they could have been "The One" if only given the chance.

Someone on this board knows who committed this vandalism; probably the person who did it. There's not a lot of people anymore who care enough about Prince (or Mayte for that matter) to even post here, let alone do something stupid like this, so I logically suspect some crossover there.

An org member did this.

Would selective memory be the correct term?
Since none of of here or anywhere else lived their life?

Unless we were actually a part of their marriage etc it wouldn't be a memory for us

I'm not referring to that. I'm speaking in broader terms. Everything that has gone down since he died & in this case since five months after he died. I'd like to elaborate but obviously that's not a good idea here.

The point is that anyone who respects Prince would respect his property/home. Ive been to P concerts since the 90s, i never saw a single person disrespect Prince while he was on stage. What i have seen, is him being dragged to hell at the Org.
