Is this in descending order!? Love to see Sufjan Stevens name here. A favorite of mine, and thus higher in my descending list that starts with Prince.

He sounds depressed on there. Like Another Side of Bob Dylan is its chirpier happy sibling (also '64). He kinda forgot about melody, which i think dylan needs to produce really good albums.

It's sort of a gloomy album, but a great one. The cover itself it's very telling, he even looks older than he was at that point.

In my life I've listened to tons of different genres, groups, etc. with Prince always being #1 even if I wasn't grooving on him for an extended period of time.

However, since he died it's been almost all Prince. On occasion, I think about putting something else on but it always turns into a Prince CD.

How about y'all?

Of course. If you don't, I'd suggest you are probably mentally ill in some way.

Just kidding!
I listen to too much Prince-stuff.
Because it's just great.
But I'm glad that I enjoy other artists (like Fiona Apple and Depeche Mode for example) too...

I wouldn't say gloomy or depressed, but he was very serious. Not a lot of fun to be had on that album. But... Dylan was part of the folk scene at that time and they were all very serious about everything. With Another Side, he was moving away from that and the folkies didn't like it one bit...

I love this album just for that, because he is quite serious in it.

They are good but for me is Fijación Oral, although the best album is Dónde Están Los Ladrones.

I feel guilty listening to other artists . Therefore 76% of the time it's my Prince playing. Though I have to give props to Childish Gambino, Gallant, Frank Ocean, Andy Allo.

I listen mostly to other artists, but always the same 20ish round and round, as they're way above the rest. It's a bit depressing that almost nothing is joining that select group; none are good enough

I do. Shakira's Spanish albums have always been better than her English releases (well, maybe not the pre-Pies Descalzos albums, hehe), but even this latest album in Spanish doesn't sound so good to me. I agree with 214 that Dónde Están Los Ladrones is her best. That's my favorite album of 1998.

Not much, i like the album, but it's clear is far from great and is far away from the old Shakira she can do so much better than this. To me she should stick with the sound of something like "La Despedida" and "Hay Amores".
