BBC 4 show, The sidemen

Think it was last Saturday night, Not sure, catch it on the I player. Wendy and Lisa were there talking about their time working with Prince, and In my humble opinion, they were a big loss to him creatively when he disbanded the Revolution. I've not watched it all yet, other major artists are featured, a good show so far, enjoy.

Yes I read about that, I'd like to watch it and have been doing a surch, but is only available in the UK (where I am not). Anyone any suggestions?

It was a good doco and whilst I can't comment on the other artists, I though the segment on Wendy and Lisa was a tad reductive to be honest. Fair play as it was just a snippet for the masses in the context of a wider show but nothing new or intersting for Prince fans.

A full doco on them would be great.

You can try a good VPN client, I use ExpressVPN but you do have to pay for it. Once you've done that, connect to a UK VPN and then you'll be able to watch iPlayer. I'm already in the UK so obviously don't need to use it for UK shows but it's worked to connect to US web sites that I can't otherwise.

The docu itself I thought was really interesting. There was quite a lot on W&L and well worth watching.

If you go to this person's Facebook page he has the segments that Lisa and Wendy are in, and the video is playable for those in the USA.

This whole documentary was exceptional.

The segments with Wendy And Lisa are great.

I've always found Wendy and Lisa very honest and passionate when they recall working with Prince.

I wish they would have stayed with Prince a little longer, however their own albums are phenominal!

However, I do wonder if there is any Prince project they wish they had hung around for - such as for example Lovesexy.

lol
