Gustavm	Purple Rain picture disc return it or take discount? My picture disc has a split clear sleeve which I'm guessing is pretty common. I'm not totally sure if I want to keep it because I have heard stories of it skipping. Would you take a $4 discount for it or just return it for a full refund?

Return it. Actually, report it. They may give you a refund without returning it, if you send a photo of the damage.
Don't return until you get instructions from the seller.

dance4me3121	I can't believe people are actually playing their picture disc copies.i haven't even opened mine and I don't plan to either.i always assumed the picture disc vinyls were for looks and to not actually play them.theres tons of negative Amazon reviews for the PR picture disc vinyl

Laydown	Picture discs are playable but theyre more for show. I dont play mine.

Picture discs are not primarily to be played even though they can be.

The sound quality on picture discs has always been an atrocity!

Sadly, I've noticed many modern pvc sleeves tend to split, so I tend to shop around for one that isn't. People are cutting corners by producing really cheap sleeves. They never used to split like this.

Keep it for your collection if you are a collector, but hunt round for a perfect copy if you feel you need this (like I do).
