.
Absolutely. Three or four different versions.
Are these thefts or licensed?

The symbol was not registered, as far as I am aware, for copyright purposes, but rather protected following applcations for registration as a trademark:

https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#c...atusSearch

https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#c...atusSearch

https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#c...atusSearch

Actually The Love Symbol IS Trademarked

For so long as it remains in use by Prince and the Estate the trademark remains affective

however policing it is another matter all together.

There is a thread on the Org dedicated to official use and all the violations

Yes, I know it's trademarked - that's what I said - applications had been made to register the mark successfully for trading purposes (and the links supplied showed those applications).

I said that it had not been registered as copyrighted.

According to this article, it was copyrighted in 1991:
https://web.archive.org/web/20160424120727/http://www.citypages.com:80/news/the-people-formerly-known-as-fans-6710648

This link clearly says it was registered, USPRO and that it was renewed in 2004:

Thanks - this is the search result for the 1991 application confirming copyright registration at the Government Copyright Office, and as referred to in the City Pages article you have identified:

http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v1=22&ti=1,22&Search%5FArg=Love%20Symbol%20%232&Search%5FCode=FT%2A&CNT=25&PID=VlOvMipLnHSbtYzk661Q9pUzxAz&SEQ=20170713020501&SID=2

Much appreciated.

(That is a registration for trademark as opposed to copyright).

You'd think they had some sort of approval from the estate to sell these?

I very much doubt they have Estate approval.

Prince SYmbol is like a runaway Train...

I doubt very much that use of it will be able to be policed.

At this stage it would take millions of dollars and probably as many hours to find ...

Its become Public Property ...just like the Christian Cross or the OM SIgn....

Does this means that from now on, I have to cross myself by making a circle gesture around my head, a spiral on my nipple and ending by emphasizing my crotch?

That's public, not pubic, property
