Would you buy it if Prince was standing next to you?

There is a lot of stuff being sold, music, streaming and released, t-shirts, tamborines, jewlery, etc

"official" and not....Youtube chanel?!?! are you kidding me!

Would you buy any of this stuff with Prince standing next to you knowing this is all the

stuff he was against?

Yes I am aware he did sell some items but really?

Well if it is official, why would he have a problem with it?

And I've never bought 'boots'

All of this, "Would Prince approve?" conjecture is ridiculous. Prince clearly didn't care what happened after he was gone. If he had, he would have had a will or a trust - or made a plan of some sort.

Why should I care more than he did? shrug

I think we would care and I feel something is not right with the will and trust not being found

I doubt anyone would buy a bootleg if Prince was standing next to them. I know if Prince was standing next to me, I'd be talking to him and not even thinking about anything else.

But to your point, I doubt many - or any - people would buy something Prince didn't want you to buy, if he was standing there watching you buy it.

Maybe they weren't found because they don't exist.

Considering everything you mentioned in your first sentence is stuff that Prince sold whilst alive, yes I would. By all means pretend that he was against all of the things that he himself sold whilst he was alive.

As one who wroked in the wealth management section of the same bank that advised Prince for a time, I find it impossible to believe that he was not strongly urged to write a will. I know for a dead-solid fact that would have been the first part of the comprehensive estate planning strategy we would have discussed with him or his representative.

But that does not mean he took our advice and wrote a will. As it stands now, it appears he didn't. That really, really surprised me but then again, none of us thinks our death is imminent so why should we focus on it now?

Agreed. Utter recklessness. How does a man, who micro-managed every single one of his affairs in life, never make provisions in the event of his death? Maybe a will of some kind is still out there...but time is running out.

the spooky mystery of it all, is going to have a whole lot of people stuck right in April 21st 2016 10 yrs from now. Prince seemed so against that kind of stuff by 2000, even taking bibles into meetings to make agreements that I highly doubt he made one. Once we stop counting we'll live as long as a tree... He probably believed he had a long way before his time to leave this world.

Considering PR and 4Ever were signed off by him, yes on both counts.

.
You don't know if he had trusts or not.
MN law requires an attorney be involved in a will. His previous wills were through attorneys even if not in MN.
If there was a will, an attorney would have legally been required to bring it forward.
.
Ergo, there is no will.
.
No use being silly.

Prince did NOT sign off on 4Ever (Head, Sexy MF) or Purple Rain Deluxe Expanded (We Can Fuck).

He did sign off on disc 1 of PRDE, and he may have signed off on a new compilation, but he never signed off on the final product of either.

That said, of course I would buy both if he was standing next to me. They are official releases, whether he approve or not would be between him and WB. Once it's out, I'm getting it.

Exactly this. He didn't care enough to set out his wishes, so it's all fair game. And even if that wasn't the case - there are plenty of things (such as his stance on YouTube) that he was just plain wrong about.

I would, but make the retailer, give Prince a cut at the same time.
