Screams is most likely Prince vocals, for all the other songs that were not, they specified who it was.

I'm not sure lenght for the tracks are accurate.

"Heaven Must Be Near", to say, on the CD is long more than 7 minutes, here it is indicated at 4:25.

Maybe here it is included an alternate version of the album. Don't know, we'll see.

Ok, so Eye Records seems to be in full-rehash mode. Again. Talk about anticlimax. Unless... Unless the sound quality is excellent/perfect on most of these outtakes. But I wouldn't count on it, given Prince's version of "101".

Do we have a date for when this is coming out? I might have missed it in that wall of text with the tracklisting

It's awesome that we're getting the new tracks, but there's only, like, 2 out of 8 discs that aren't a complete re-hash. There are some tracks that were even released on previous BFTP sets! Most of the stuff from the 4th disc of BFTP5 have been on at least 2 or 3 other Eye sets. Mostly filler.

I really hope that Wonderful Ass is the real 1983 demo, not just a rip from PR Deluxe (most likely).

How hard can it be for a bootleg label to put out something resembling an actual vault/Crystal Ball type album instead of just throwing together any old bits and pieces they have lying around, just so they can stretch it out over 8 discs to justify the price tag?

BTW has anyone seen the note on the front page of PrinceVault? They weren't happy about being thanked by Eye. I don't blame them.

From the way they made it sound, some of the rehashed tracks are from new sources. So that would be cool.

Well--I hope some of the sources for the familiar tracks are actually improvements--and I hope that the new tracks are mostly decent sounding sources as well. I'd hate to have a few years of gradually improving things that sound like complete trash on their first appearance.

If they don't actually sound better, then that's disappointing. Since I have trouble getting rid of anything once I have it, I'd really prefer not to have rehashes of stuff I already have on a dozen other boots and from when they leaked to begin with.

But, I'm still excited by what's new to me, and hoping for the best with the rest.

Of course I'm not intending to purchase it myself, just going to wait until some generous person uploads it to the usual channels
