You'll be waiting a long time! Jewel cases have been on the way out for over a decade now - and I can't recall the last time I saw a 4 disc case.

'The Beautiful Ones' and extended 'We Can Fu*k'' spacy synth patch makes another cameo (noteably 3:26-4:06).

They didn't do Heat, but Thief and Risky Business are definitely good places to start.

The playing style/phrasing here slightly raise the credibility quotient of the alleged 1983 intimate piano session that 'leaked' several years ago.

Crap. Did I keep that? I hope so.

And why did I promise myself not to listen to anything else after Electric Intercourse until the actual full release is in my possession? Because this is not an easy thing to resist, the way you people keep talking.

Wait, are you saying you've already heard the "We Can F*ck" track from the set, or am I reading too much into your comment?

Nope!--not gonna do it. Not a single note. lol

So, you guys need to keep talking. I'll just make up my own version, and then let that get blown away when the discs come. Actually, how many of you really gave this tune any thought before it showed up on the tracklist--I mean, were you sitting around going "I bet there's a longer version of Father's Song--I just gotta hear that"? I know I never did--I just thought, "huh, that's pretty I guess--cool how it's in Computer Blue, too," but I never thought about it beyond that. So that's one of the things about this release that I think is interesting. It really was unexpected for me that there was much beyond what was in the film. Especially based on what I'm hearing from the comments. Looking forward to it.

Whoa... I don't know yet about how I feel about the synth. I'm not sure it kicks me out of it. At least the initial parts. 2:40 is starting to feel a little different. Will have to listen to this a few times.

Does anyone believe it will be comparable to The Joshua Tree 30th anniversary as far as look and contents, etc.? Or, just another half-assed effort by WB?

I dig the moody synths! I love how they come down slowly like waves.

Wonder if there's more atmospheric stuff like this hanging out in the vault. It reminds me a bit of the end of Something in the Water.
