Diamonds and Pearls is a double platinum album. ATWIAD is a double platinum album also, yet D&P is out of print and ATWIAD is pretty easy to find online and was readily available in brick and mortar stores in the months following Prince's death. I was able to find the Batman soundtrack, also 2x platinum, in a brick and mortar store and it is still in print. The question is why D&P was ever out of print in the first place.

D&P is not out of print.. At least not in Europe... I saw then stocked plenty of times when I travel...

And yes PRINCE has sold well... Up and down... He has hit the superstardom mark like MJ & MADONNA with sales excess of 25 Million with Purple Rain...

But overall his worldwide sales have been consistent from 83- 93...

World wide 1999 sold over 6 million, ATWIAD over 3 million, PARADE over 4 million, SOTT 4 million, LOVESEXY over 2 million, BATMAN over 4 million, D&P over 6 million...
