Great read, thank you Latin. Those LA Forum concerts in 2011 were so good.

.
Wait!
What's that about Prince washing the dishes?

.
Seriously though, don't we all know that if something needed to be done, he'd make sure it was -- even if he had to do it himself? Or pitch in to help the cook?
.
Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

Prince washing dishes makes me giggle for no damn reason. But also, pretty cute. Home slice probably was enjoying that too.

Thank you. I read this a while back. P met Andy Allo through an introduction by the Africa Channel. I believe he connected with Damaris Lewis through the Africa Channel.

Here is a thread dedicated to the day Prince met Andy. After the concert, Prince was formally introduced to Andy. Pinkcashmere23 also posted on the thread a wonderful interview with Andy about how she met Prince.

LOL! I was thinking the same damn thing! I would have given anything to be a fly on that wall to see Prince doing the most mundane task.

You have a good memory laurarichardson! I almost forgot about that. I remember reading an interview with Andre Cymone's mom Bernadette where she talked about Prince having household chores when he lived with them (he had to mop the floors and etc.). I also remember Andre saying the reason why Prince moved to the basement was because Andre was a slob and Prince was fairly neat. I think Mayte mentions in her book that Prince was a neat freak too (around the time she was getting her Yorkie puppy).

Yes, everybody said he was a neat freak.

Yes, hence the re-posting of such an old article today, and Latin's only response on this thread thus far.

Personally, I appreciate everything Latin hunts down and posts-regardless of whether the original article was posted today or a year ago. Not sure what relevance that has to my question. Furthermore, why are you dogging Latin for responding to a question that I asked ?

And being that there is no "tone" to a text, maybe I'm taking the appearance of sarcasm for something you are truly finding humorous(hence the "LOL!") no?

I remember that interview as well. The butler also stated that Prince liked his port wine in that article biggrin

I don't remember if it was the same interview with the butler, but I also remember reading that as Prince was coming in in the early morning, Elton John was just finishing up a match of tennis which was part of EJ's daily routine

What in God's name is the Africa Channel. Is that TV for Africans or African Americans. What kind of shows, positive stuff like Hidden Colours, or just shitty BET hip hop and Martin reruns.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Nope, it's more like HGTV/Travel Channel. They air specials on animals, travel destinations, documentaries on celebrities/music/short films etc.

--Yes, many people have mentioned his love of port wine which leaves me a little confused about all this supposed pull popping as wine and pills equals death.
