Did they specifically say it was unreleased? Because she has small parts in Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge.

I loved Jill Jones in Purple Rain as the girl with the unrequited crush on The Kid. Especially when she gets tears in her eyes...

No, Eric said in his recent PodcastJuice interview (which you MUST hear if you haven't) that it was a personal project, just for fun and never to be released.

I'd never seen it before so I'm glad it finally resurfaced on YT, even though it is indeed pretty awful

Hopefully it'll be cleaned-up and included in some future Madhouse rerelease one day, alongside the 2 music videos.

Yeah it sure could have been definately went well with the videos and music style/inspiration,

There was a lot of possibilities with the Madhouse project

One thing about Prince have a ft horn section in his band is that every song/most songs did not need horns on it, and the horn sound sorta watered down some songs that never originally had them.
Like horns on Let's Go Crazy is just a no no

The Family band of course the sax was made for and of course Madhouse

Madhouse wasn't allowed to ever take root and grow, but this movie, not a great movie but better than Graffiti Bridge, and once you get the gist of what Prince meant with this movie, you can look on it with no judgement and just have fun with it.

Too bad a full seperate band wasn't formed for it. If BrownMark stayed in the band, Levi would have been perfect for Madhouse, I think his character shined really well when I saw him in Madhouse.
