Great stuff. I wish i could get into his mind back then. I wonder what his ambition was back then. what were 1977 Prince's dreams?. I bet they were modest at first. Get signed, release some music. I bet WB's contract even took him by surprise. By the time the DM era rolled round, he'd taken himself by surprise, was confident and knew he could be a great. Then he was.

So handsome & cute back in the day. Each week, it seems I find another reason to miss him even more!

That doll's color and face reminds me of the picture of the woman's eyes and face for the jacket sleeve for Purple Rain, I guess.

Maybe P was inspired by that doll?

Don't say that on FB. A couple of weeks ago, I got booted out of some group because they were claiming that picture was supposed to be of Vanity and when I said it was not, all hell broke loose.
