I listened to this via a stream. Super amazing to hear these songs, jams after all these years in such quality (SlaughterHouse and Conversation Piece stood out for me) but the real treat imo is the rough mix of "Can I Play With You?" - makes much more sense sonically as a rough mix before Prince overdubbed the life out of it. The ONLY disappointing thing about this set is the fact that "Heaven" is still the same bad sounding bootleg we've heard and I was primarily interested in hearing that - I love the song.

It's an interesting collection. It's like Prince is trying out different line ups for future projects.

I've been "streaming" this; oddly Disc 2 is absent.

Do you people still buy these? Are these intended to be sold as CDs?

Odd thing there being that Eternity was on Blast from the Past in near release quality. Why the downgrade here? Bizarre.

Some people buy them. My assumption is that most of us got the music some other way, ultimately through the kindness of someone who bought it. Now, a lot of boots nowadays aren't intended for sale, but are intended by the people who release them to be shared freely, but Sabotage and Eye releases are a "for-profit" project.

On which songs is she soloing?

Except for Groove in C minor?

[Edited 5/4/17 8:15am]

There's a lot of soloing in the later sessions but the phrasing sounds like Prince. When he calls guitar solo on groove in C she just stays on the wah pedal and it doesn't go anywhere lol. But I love Wendy's fills regardless [Edited 5/4/17 9:10am]

Reminds me of Andy Allo's soloing smile

Fascinating release - I'm still working through it.

But a few questions if anyone can help.

Other than the Flesh stuff is there anything in these versions tht are better than what we already have (Eternity, In a Large Room, Baby Go-Go etc.....mainly on disc 2)?

Does anyone know how Conversation Piece fits into everything. According to the Vault (http://www.princevault.com/index.php?title=The_Flesh) it wasnt part of 'The Flesh Sessions' but seems to be very similar in tone?

Are For Love and Mardrid (Edit) in circulation - they appear on some peoples ideal reordering of the the tracks in orevious posts but arent on the release?

Any help apprecaited.......

I c we've done what they've said we were gonna do n raved about it 4 a few mins n moved onto the next thing lol. I 4 1 am still jamming 2 these new leaks. The full version o Junk Music is EVERYTHING. I think I play this 1 the most (in fact I'm listening to it right now boogie). All the new parts n extra solos love. The other new tracks get much spins as well. Especially the first disc, but the additional "Everybody's Jam" tunes r good 2 especially Groove in C Minor n Slow Groove. Groove in G Flat Minor is kinda noisy n meandering (more so than others, just sayin), but I fucks wit it. Conversation Piece is a nice addition even if it doesn't have 2 do w/ the Flesh sessions per se. Its a fun lil track, reminds me of a instrumental version of Last Heart music. bomb stuff clapping.

For all time I am with you, you are with me.
