8/3/83 is 70 minutes or so with a long intro and the speech in the middle.

You could get that on one disc with some edits to 8/3/83.

Titanic is 194 minutes on 1 disc. There are some other long films on 1 disc.

Fitting 194 miutes on a single disc means a drastic reduction in audio and video quality.

i downloaded some free dvd audio ripper in the past. it was pretty simple..

pop in a dvd.. scan the dvd.. select what tracks and rip to wav, mp3

but i no longer have the program, so i cant recomend what program it was

i think it's fun to imagine that he chose electric intercourse instead of the beautiful ones and today we're hearing the beautiful ones for the first time

The "4th" disc on "Purple Rain Deluxe" is definitely Syracuse live set.

Prince re-mastered "Purple Rain" himself before he left us as the release has been scheduled now for a few years.

The Revolution do a "track by track" in the CD booklet and Susan Rogers contributes to the liner notes.

There will also be a vinyl version of the Deluxe Edition.

Cant wait!

PS: I think "Electric Intercourse" is beautiful.

Got it from Spotify UK and it is available in both Amazon UK and Google music but only Amazon are offering the "single" for purchase. Google have a release date of 25th June and Amazon 23rd June for the album.

I hoped there was the two lives in blu ray - but schokingly, there is only 1 dvd (!!). We are not in 2004 anymore...What is the point in remastering a video tape in 2017, if it is not for a HD release ?

That still proves WB can't make a real good deluxe edition, even more than one year after Prince's passing...and this is for Purple Rain ! The only Prince popular album worldwide.

WB missed the point, like Sony missed the point with MJ's posthumous release. Commercially, MJ's release never recovered from it, to the point where they don' even want to release unreleased track anymore. Because nobody buys them.

WB could make a music video of EI, using footage from the live version. But they won't do that. They are really lacking commercial sense.

I can't believe they waited more than one year for this disappointment. It could have easily been released last year.

listening to "Electric Intercourse" on Spotify right now this track is amazing!!! I love it

Great version of Ei however it does seem borderline demo quaility in its completeness. A someone else mentioned earlier this could have been a guide track in preparation for recording at First Ave during the benefit show for inclusion on the PR album however once The Beautiful Ones was recorded it was put on the shelf.

It is amazing how difference each version of this song sounds - the rehersal, the live version and now the studio mix.

Bring on June 23rd.
